Was this lady being too honest? 🫣🤪😂🫶
We showed our new packaging, thinking it was great, and a customer commented saying that she didn’t like it 😮
But really, that comment was exactly what we needed! Because honestly, we didn’t like it either 😅😂
We are trying to do something different in laundry, to reinvent an entire industry.
And the way that we designed that first packaging was actually to satisfy the way retail is currently done! But it just doesn’t nail what we are trying to do.
So, thank you! 🫶
We are sending you a free stain pen for giving us the push we needed, and we’ve gone back to the drawing board 😂
Here’s a few shots of what we’re working on! I’ve labelled them A, B, and C so let us know which one you prefer, and we’ll make it happen!!

I personally am more drawn to B. I think they’re all good and will probably be personal preference. I think for stores B would bring more people in but online sales the usual packaging is just fine!
Janet C
I think C looks classy 👌🏻

The problem I see with the packaging having a viewing window is that the plastic is not likely to be recyclable in household recycling.
I like the packaging for option C. It does look a lot like mascara packaging which is possibly confusing.
Could the pen come in a nice thick box that is almost like a gift box? In that it fits the product itself without a huge amount of wasted space, has a nice weight to it and doesn’t feel like throw away packaging? Like it could be the storage box for the pen? It could have the information on the back of the box for instructions etc and barcode on the bottom of the box and simple “tallow and ash stain pen” branding on the front to keep the luxury aesthetic the brand has?

B looks the best to me. Could use a bit of iridescence somewhere too?

I like B. However my 18-year old daughter disagreed and said she preferred A.
