I do think one will bring to mind the desert heat, like warm sand baking in the sun. Maybe a bit spicy, a touch of cinnamon and the darkness of a strong black tea.
The other looks a bit like a sandy beach, so fresh ocean winds, salty and cool, maybe with eucalyptus or mint.
