My friend Vickie is a wonderful mother. How she manages to juggle her job and looking after her kids I’ll never know. After school clubs, swimming lessons, dance classes, she gets them all in. I know that she’s not alone in doing this but she’s the woman I see doing it.

I especially celebrate my best friend Sophie this year. Her loving gentleness has softened me when we met 16 years ago and really helped me embrace the empathetic and femine side of being a lady, strengthening my more logical and task driven nature. We nearly lost her last week to a traumatic accident, and it would really mean a lot to her that other ladies in the world are caring for her and rooting for her healing journey to shine brighter than she already was shining before ✨️
