At Tallow+Ash, around 75% of our team and 90% of our amazing customers are women. 🥰 So celebrating and empowering women is incredibly important to us, not just in the workplace, but in everyday life too, supporting each other, celebrating achievements, and sharing stories about the women in our lives who inspire us every day.

I will be celebrating myself and my daughter! I’m a single parent with no support for my ADHD/ASD daughter who’s also epileptic and has other medical conditions and sensory disorders! I fight each and every day for her to build us a happy life and to one day have our own home! I never have a break nor do I complain and put everyone first before myself! So tomorrow I celebrate me!!!

I want to shout out and celebrate the 11 other women in the chat group I am a part of. We all came together through a selling and buying site over the past year and have formed a bond of friendship, chaos, support and everything in-between. We are all falling apart (these oldish bones) while holding each other together and getting us all through hard times and good, sadness, happiness, shortcomings, weddings, pregnancy, medical issues, new jobs and through it all so many laughs, tears and not one judgement.

To Gillian Garnsworthy, thank you for being the best mum and woman in my life. I wish I could tell you how amazing you are but words are not enough. Dealing with everything you deal with, all in your stride. I know I’m speaking on behalf of not just me, but dad, my brother and his family, your sister and her family and the boys for everything you do and take it on your shoulders and never even show that you have the world on your shoulders! We all love you and thank you for being you. The best mum, nurse to dad, grandmother and best friend. You are the best woman in my eyes!
