Discovery Samples...but minis!! What do you think? 💜

Design and packaging are a big deal to us at T+A. Our Laundry Shampoo + Conditioner bottles weren't designed to look great, their rectangular shape means they fit neatly into cupboards and shelves without awkward gaps or wasted space. 🙏

But when we looked at our Discovery Samples, we realised something. Sachets just aren't giving the same clean, considered aesthetic. So we started exploring a new idea. Minis. 🥹

The idea is a beautiful Discovery Sample box with our bestselling scents, each one in a mini bottle instead of a sachet. These minis would hold three times the amount, giving you three washes instead of just one.

We've found that a single sachet doesn't always reflect how people actually do their laundry. Wash loads and machine sizes vary, and everyone has their own preference when it comes to how much detergent they use. 🤗 It's still early days, but before we go any further, we wanted to ask you first.

What do you think? 🥰

Firstly, I love your company, products and your core values but… it is a no from me. The sachets are simple to use and clearly designed for single use, which makes sense because they’re only intended as a way for customers to try a scent before committing to a full bottle. Turning them into small plastic bottles feels like unnecessary additional plastic waste for something that isn’t meant to be a long-term product/solution.

If sustainability is truly a core value for the brand, I think it’s important that the sampling process continues to point customers toward the real goal; buying the refill pouches and using the bottles long-term. Saving space or improving storage doesn’t really feel like a priority when the product is just a sample, and the current sachets are already easy to store and use.

Like the idea very much. Useful to take on short holidays and a better way to really assess the fragrance. Sometimes it’s hard to decide after just one wash.

I think they look cute but it’s too much plastic.

They look so adorable! I think pairing with a returns scheme would make this a more responsible choice :) I am crying out for this with the refill pouches too!
