We've been working on some new fragrance ideas and I'd love your feedback on the initial concepts!
Oud has been with us since launch in 2023, and it's become one of our most-loved fragrances. We'd love to give all of our Oud lovers new ways to enjoy it throughout the year, whilst still keeping the rich Oud base you already know and love. So we've started pairing it with different notes to create completely different moods and fragrances.
Some of these concepts and names are a little out there, but you know we love hearing what you think before we develop them any further.
So if any of the concepts below are a huge no, or a huge yes, please comment on our blog or social post. And if there's an Oud combination that you think we absolutely NEED, let us know too.

Matcha and Tropical for me, it sounds not to much, but still nice scent to carry you through the day.

One else seems to like it . TBH it’s the only one that sounds like a good combo to me
I think Honey Oud would probably be my first choice, with Mocha Oud a very close second. There’s just something about the combination of honey and oud that sounds really warm, rich and luxurious, but still like something I’d actually want my clothes and bedding to smell of. I also think it feels quite distinctive without being too unusual.
Tropical Oud sounds good – not liking the thought of Mocha Oud as I hate the smell of coffee shops especially after I had a long hair flowing on the top of my froth at Costa coffee.
Love the sound of all of them except the coffee one. Maybe it wouldn’t smell too strongly of the coffee but I wouldn’t be keen on my clothes smelling of drink or foods.
Tropical oud sounds good.

Love the sound of Honey Pud and Tropical Pud is my favourite scent but I’d like to be able to mix them up a bit to give different scents as our nose becomes accustomed to the same scent so it doesn’t seem to smell so long.

Your Country club was the best! Absolute fresh and not like anything else. My whole flat smelled amazing. And I keep one bed linen in a bag with this scent and not using it. I’m crazy about the scents and you made it. But discontinued. Home sweet home is too sweet. Oud is fine but nothing to compare with the Country Club. Please return it❤️

I love the sound of all of them – parhaps you can do all 4 as limited edtions; Spring Oud ( macha ), Summer Oud ( tropical ), Autumn Oud ( Mocha ) and Winter Oud ( Honey )

I really like this concept and would love to try all of these scents. I think a sample oud set(like the laundry starter kit but with all the new oud scents) would be an idea for your company to allow us customers to try these all out and choose our favorites. Looking forward to these coming out to try!!

I just love the Oud so much I’d probably not risk trying anything added to it-especially if it was likely to be too sweet! Having said that, the Honey mix does sound pretty appealing😁.

Hi, tropical out would be interesting. Think of Maison Crivelli oud collection. It’s such a great take on oud. Oud Maracuja is great. T&A version of course would be its own story. Please if it could be not tooooo much on oud so the tropical and bergamot notes can shine. Matcha is a trend of course so would get interest but I don’t think the note is that interesting to make it into a line.

Firstly, I absolutely love that you’re involving us in the process. One of the reasons I love Tallow + Ash so much is because you actually listen to your customers and create fragrances that feel unique rather than just copying what’s already out there.
Out of these concepts, Tropical Oud definitely stands out to me the most, but I do feel like there’s one fragrance profile that’s missing and I genuinely think it would be a huge success.
I’d absolutely LOVE to see a Rose Oud or Blueberry Musk Oud. Rich, elegant fragrances with notes like rose, blueberry, white musk, amber, sandalwood and a smooth, luxurious oud are some of the most beautiful scents in perfumery, but I’ve never really seen them translated into laundry products. I think there’s such a gap in the market for something that smells feminine, expensive and sophisticated rather than just fresh or overly sweet.
Some of my favourite perfumes are FDB Rude Oud, Ibraq Blueberry Musk, Kayali Silk Santal and Kayali Déjà Vu White Flower because they all have that soft musky, ambery, floral depth that lasts beautifully. Imagine getting that same luxurious feeling from freshly washed clothes and bedding! I honestly think people would fall in love with it.
I know fruity scents can sometimes lean very sweet, but a blueberry paired with soft oud, white musk and amber would smell so elegant and comforting rather than sugary. Equally, a velvety rose with musk, sandalwood and amber would smell timeless and incredibly luxurious.
I genuinely think either of those concepts would become staples in the Oud collection, and I’d buy them without hesitation. Thank you for always asking for our opinions and creating fragrances that are so different from anything else on the market. I can’t wait to see what you come up with! 💜

To be honest, however you want to ‘Oud’ me, I’ll be happy with! But the Tropical and Matcha Ouds have me feeling excited. But please, I’d love it if you would eventually branch out to drawer liners too.

I wouldn’t normally go for anything with honey or tropical scents as they can sometimes be sickly sweet, but I think if you did samples in them, I’d give them a try. You never know, I may love them because the oud has changed the sweetness. 🤔😘🤩

I love the sound of Honey oud as i don’t think you have a smoky scent and that would be really nice. You have tropical scents and these are stunning in their own rights and you have a chocolate scent, also lovely so i think matcha or the honey but honey would be ny fav seems more Halloween and warmer scent for ghat season

It’s got to be the honey oud 🍯 😋
The concepts sound great. The imagery is really strong (maybe a bit more mango orange in the tropical imagery?). The words are evocative and exotic too (although some of the references in the inspiration sections are lost on me – what’s a Kayali Oudgasm? And can I have one?). I particularly think the Mocha and the Honey will work because Oud is quite a rich, robust fragrance and Mocha and Honey are strong enough to pair. That’s not to say the Matcha and Tropical won’t work. They also sound lush, it’s just a harder concept to get my head around given what I know about Oud. A couple of other reflections. 1) I assume some of these will have seasonal availability (Tropical and Mocha) 2) Be careful referencing Tom Ford. I see a lot of cheap / knock off fragrances / perfumes referencing Tom Ford. Using Tom Ford as an anchor point is a bit Facebooky / cheap in my opinion (although I do love Tom Ford fragrances!). Otherwise these all sound amazing!

I would love Golden Oud to be brought back, even as a spray. I had only just starting trying your fragrances and this was my favourite, I didn’t like original Oud.

I absolutely love the sound of all of these except the Mocha oud, only because I do not like coffee. Tropical would remind me of holidays in the Maldives or Seychelles. Matcha is very on trend at the moment as it’s everywhere, Honey oud reminds me of Cody autumn nights with a nice cosy fire and hot chocolate. Can’t wait to try them

I would absolutely love to see gourmand oud, especially coffee and tropical. Gorgeous, delicious envelopes scents that are warm and fresh – are absolutely my cup of tea!

Personally, I’d say mix up the Oud a little bit with something fresh like the matcha or tropical. I sometimes find, glorious though Oud is, it can sometimes be a little heavy particularly on summary days like today and a little bit of freshness would lighten that up beautifully. But that’s just my opinion and others might feel different differently and I’m happy to give all of the products a try! The one product I love is the fragrance sprays and I’d love to see more of these.

I love the original Oud and gutted I didn’t get to try the other before it was discontinued. Super excited to try the Honey Oud and Matcha Oud.
I think it’s a great idea. After smelling Oud elixir mixed with Summer Fling I am up for trying all of these. I particularly like the sound of Matcha Oud and Tropical Oud and …….. Heck who am I kidding I love the sound of them all! 🤎💚🤎🩵
Honey and tropical get my vote!
Mocha sounds fantastic as dose the honey. Tropical and the matcha both have some of the same fragrance notes that you already do so i feel would be very samey as other fragrances. I would definitely love to try the Mocha.
Mocha Oud sounds like a dream, but i would call it “Rainy lazy weekend”
love the original oud, like the sound of the honey oud, not sure on the others. Definitely not mocha, as i hate coffee scents.
The Honey and Tropical sound like they would be the best combination.
I’m a big Oud fan and use Tom Ford Oud fragrances so looking at the honey one I’m hoping it’s more spicy than sweet, the matcha sounds interesting and fresh. I would also maybe try the tropical although I’m not a flower smelling fan. As for mocha you can keep it.
I would definitely try each of these. They all suggest the luxury scent you are known for.
