Why we created Tallow+Ash
For something we do so often, we shouldn't have to settle for boring scents, ugly bottles and toxic chemicals. Doing the laundry is already dreaded by most, but being on top of things can make us feel so positive about life. That's why we created Tallow + Ash. To make laundry products amazing, and to make that never-ending pile something you look forward to tackling! Making your clothes (and home) smell incredible so life is that little bit better.
Our laundry products smell like designer fragrances. We work with Master Perfumers to blend incredible top, mid and base notes that make your home and clothes smell amazing! Formulated by UK Chemists, our cleaning formula uses powerful plant-based cleaning chemicals that are non-toxic, biodegradable and kind to skin. All our products are dye-free, vegan and cruelty-free.

Incredible fragrance, sensitive to skin and eco friendly
Love the eco friendly aspect, hasn't caused skin reactions and we're super sensitive. My mum asked what perfume I was wearing, I wasn't wearing any! We discovered it was my jumper that had been washed in aurora. Working my way through the discovery pack to re-purchase my favourites. Absolute life long customer here for sure - all the packaging is recyclable and delivery was co2 neutral too! Thank you Tallow + Ash for making me excited to do the laundry, can't wait to try out the elixir in the future

I am a recent customer to Tallow Ash. My first purchase was the sample set and the full size Oud. All samples have proven themselves. They clean perfectly even at the lower temperatures that they recommend. The scents are all phenomenal. Having to dry indoors a lot at the moment is actually a bonus. The laundry fills the room with the most delicious smells. So far my favourite is aurora but I think this will change on a weekly basis. None of them disappoint. I am a total convert. The price is on par with most other brands, however, I will be sticking with Tallow Ash because they deliver what is required and more. Even kind to the planet. What's not to love ❤️

Momma with a lot of washing to do!!!
I’m a mum with 4 grubby sons who all have sensitive skin so laundry is an utter mare for me lol!!! Non bio don’t usually work on stains but this stuff is different..couldn’t fault it!!! Also need cleaning products for the rest of house too as that celestial stuff smells just like my perfume lols. Also FB and Instagram accounts keep me entertained on an eve, something to get involved with it’s a real community! Heard customer service are helpful to not needed yet as all been smooth👍 family on it too. 5 star🤩💫⭐️

Why the name Tallow + Ash?
The name is a nod to how clothes used to be cleaned in the olden times using two simple ingredients. We create our products without the harsh chemicals used today, and strip out anything that's unnecessary for a great clean and amazing fragrance. We don't use dyes, phosphates, or phthalates and instead use specially formulated biodegradable chemicals that are planet-friendly, kind to skin and provide awesome cleaning power!
Are the bottles recyclable?
Yes! All our bottles are made from 100% recyclable HDPE plastic. But we've designed the bottles so they can be easily refilled, and our refill packs will be launching shortly! Stay tuned to our socials as we'll keep you posted.
Are the products vegan + cruelty free?
Yes, we believe all laundry products should be. So both our Laundry Shampoo and Laundry Conditioner formulas are Vegan and Cruelty free. We are currently in the process of certification from Leaping Bunny and Vegan Society trademark.
