Surprised by this collab to say the least, however around the same time I received the email my ASD daughter, who is a âMcDonaldâs Maniacâ had got her beloved McDonaldâs ketchup on her sweater T & Aâs Stain pen came to the rescue once again, slightly spooky coincidence! đ đ

This is deeply disappointing. I supported T&A because youâre a small, independent business, and I believed in seeing you grow without aligning yourselves with the same corporations that already dominate the market. Collaborating with McDonaldâs completely undermines that.
Beyond that, the brand is widely boycotted, and many of your customers feel strongly about that. Whether you agree or not, choosing this partnership sends a message; and itâs not a good one. You risk alienating the very community that helped build your platform.
After the Starbucks situation last year and the apology that followed, I genuinely expected more thought and care around future collaborations. This feels like a repeat mistake.
If this is the direction youâre choosing to go in, then be honest about it, but donât expect your community to stay silent or continue supporting you. Youâve built your brand on independence and values. Right now, this contradicts both.

Have to say Iâm disappointed in the collab. T&A are more of a higher end product and to pair with McDonalds feels like they have really missed their target market. And if they were looking to reach a more diverse market, there are a lot better companies than McDonalds they could have chosen.

Not keen on the McDonaldâs collab. Bit disappointing really. Iâve been boycotting them so time to rethink my subscription I think. Shame that.

Someone said they donât care about boycott lists but I absolutely do care. To see a brand that I support and cared for associate with a company like đ is disappointing. You try so hard to distance yourself from Big Corpo and go for the smaller ones trying to make a change, then find out they lick Big Corpoâs boots too, with no care for the impact said corpo has on peopleâs health and actively fund a war. Shame on you, really.
