Was this lady being too honest? 🫣🤪😂🫶
We showed our new packaging, thinking it was great, and a customer commented saying that she didn’t like it 😮
But really, that comment was exactly what we needed! Because honestly, we didn’t like it either 😅😂
We are trying to do something different in laundry, to reinvent an entire industry. Â
And the way that we designed that first packaging was actually to satisfy the way retail is currently done! But it just doesn’t nail what we are trying to do.
So, thank you!  🫶
We are sending you a free stain pen for giving us the push we needed,  and we’ve gone back to the drawing board 😂
Here’s a few shots of what we’re working on! I’ve labelled them A, B, and C so let us know which one you prefer, and we’ll make it happen!!

I prefer C just enough information on the outside and pen looks good

C looks the sleekest and nicest

In my opinion the current or C works best as the pen is so beautiful, with a window it risks getting scratched in transit and then does not reflect the luxury feel of the pen.

B. BUT WITH THE EXPLANATION DETAIL FROM C ON ONE OF THE SIDES or added as a flap? Slightly more complex in terms of box construction but definitely doable. (I spent many years in the world of Packaging Design and I agree with your customer who wasn’t too crazy about the current Packaging). I think B is a definite improvement for retail shelves and for new customers to T&A, and actually I think the Stain Pen itself looks lovely. But in my experience, the more explanatory detail you can add (along with the mandatory information that needs to be included) the better… Good luck and I look forward to seeing the new version in Store!

Defo B….
