Absolutely love your shampoo and conditioners. Just two things can you please make the scents a bit stronger and can you have options for who delivers the products eg the post office or a reliable delivery company as Evri are alwful, I am getting to the stage where I won’t order products from anyone who sends them via Evri, but I love your products, would the post office do your company a deal if you use them.

The bottle is so difficult to pull open, I’m not a disabled person. It hurts my finger a bit. Please make improvements regarding this. And I love the cocoa butter laundry conditioner and shampoo so much, however it is too faint – the fragrance should be stronger. I added 1.5 cap to my small washing machine and the scent not enough. I would prefer you adjust the fragrance to become stronger and even raise the price if you must because your product is full of potential I don’t wish to see it lose customers due to cutting corners.

Fabric perfume sprayers – can these be an add on please? I’ve just received 6 bottles of 2 different fragrances accompanied by 6 sprayers when 2 sprayers would have been sufficient.

Please invest in boxes which actually fit your products and keep them secure and upright in transit. Yet again I’ve had a delivery – this time 8 bottles of fabric perfume plus 2 packs of christmas samples – and the box is far too big for them so the bottles have fallen over in transit causing some leakage. If you want to retain the single size box then please make sure it is stuffed full of scrunched up brown paper (or another eco-friendly alternative) which is sufgicinet to stop things moving!

Would love an ironing water, also big bottles for seasonal smells rather than just samples and options to buy individual refills

Just wanted to share something with you.
I store my extra supply’s of laundry shampoo of tallow & Ash in my garage. I went to fill up this morning with my refill pack and as I began to pour it was like a slush puppy! It has been rather cold up here in Scotland). I just wanted you to share this with other people who store their refills outside. I’m sure that once it defrosts it will have no ill effects on the product.

One of your goals is to get listed in a supermarket, are there any ones currently in the works? I have Waitrose right down the street from me and I feel it would be a perfect fit! Fingers crossed! It always feels like such a long time to wait for your products once I hit order with Evri delivering them, walking down to the shop would be so perfect!

I have just ordered the samples to see if they are as good as people are saying 😂After purchase I was given the option to add two full size bottles at £4.99 each (if I added them to my order within a couple of minutes)Great, but, I don’t know if I like them yet-surely a better option would be to email customer 2/3 weeks after they have received the samples to try, giving them this option then?

My tumble dryer instructions say not to use fabric conditioner so it would be good if the laundry liquid and conditioner could be bought separately!

Being able to return the refill pouches so they can be reused would be a great addition to help sustainability and reduce the amount of plastic waste

Only a minor thing. Would it be possible to print shampoo / conditioner on one of the sides of the bottles as that is how I store my products in the cupboard.

Would love matching ironing water or, to reduce packaging and size, a scented concentrate you can add to the water in the iron. Oud Steam Clouds whilst I’m ironing – imagine!

Absolutely love T&A and your products. Please add some dryer sheets to your range so we don’t lose the s ent during the drying cycle! The only fragrance that remains during drying appears to be Oud. Thank you!

I would have liked to continue ordering from you, but since the middle of the year this is no longer possible as I live in France.
Please look for a shipping service provider that delivers to Europe!!!!

I love your brand but find myself always waiting a long time to receive it because your current courier Evri is awful, why not give your customers a choice at the checkout stage of two or three shipping options I know I would pay a bit more for the piece of mind that my order was going to turn up on time and I wouldn’t have to be constantly chasing my orders.

I love your products but your packaging waste really needs to be looked at. The Christmas samples I ordered came in a ridiculous amount of plastic that in these times really should be sent in something more sustainable. I have so many of your plastic bottles too. I hate having so much plastic and it puts me off buying more scents. I feel like there is a smarter way to do it.

I’ve loved trying your scents, even my children have commented and have got excited when trying new ones. I really miss summer fling and hope that comes back, it’s been my favourite so far. Next year would be nice to have Xmas ones in bottles as well as sachets. And the only thing that stops me signing up to subscription is that I’d have to pay delivery monthly, so even with the subscription it’s cheaper to just bulk buy and pay one lot of delivery. Please get into Ocado. They sell a wide range from many suppliers including m and s . I feel their demographic customer would appreciate your product.

Faster despatch and delivery times please. I often order at the beginning of the week hoping to have it by Friday and end up having to buy from the supermarket. If you could get yourselves into my local supermarkets and online shopping Asda/ Morrisons/ Tesco, that would be awesome.

Perhaps a baby friendly one? I know the current ones are formulated for everybody but maybe a gentle cloud marshmallow baby powder vibe? I think that would be fabulous even for inclusivity

I really appreciate your concept of nice aroma and works as good as big brands ,scents have changed not as strong as when first purchased. At first could smell the aroma when opened the laundry room door and wardrobe doors , now nothing.
I thought it was me but hubby and daughter both commented.

Love your products and ethos, but I’m still struggling with the amount of plastic within my own personal consumption habits. It would be great to have a more sustainable way of refilling bottles to minimise how much plastic is entering your product cycle. Physical refill points would reduce your reliance on refill pouches. A good starting point might be partnering with zero waste shops in local areas.

Do you currently reuse the pouches that are returned to you? Or are you restricted by H&S directives on this.

I would love scent boosters either as dryer sheets or balls as my washer dryer kills the scent, I am elderly and disabled so in the winter I have to use the dryer function, I have noticed that the scent isn’t so long lasting now

Make Enigma permanent. Lots of others have said the same. I have noticed Odessey is not as strong as previously, did the formula change. It used to fill the house, now it is faint but I still love it. Delivery is mostly fine. Moss fabric spray out of stock, makes me want to try. Thank you for everything. I love your ethos. Wish I was an investor I found this brand on Fb.

I think I have tried most of the scents & I agree with a few other posts the scents are just not strong enough except for duvet day & Oud. The icing on the cake I could not smell hardly anything, I was so excited to try that!

Please, please can you increase the perfume content, as it’s barley noticeable once dry 😟

I don’t think the fragrance is strong enough ,if wash on a 40 cycle can’t smell anything. Also as mentioned by a lot of people the delivery charge is too high and the wait for products to arrive is far too long. The customer service responses are not helpful when contact them to say delivery still hadn’t arrived after over a week of waiting. Wish was in supermarkets be much better value for money that way. Candy beach is still the best smell shame been discontinued glad I stocked up.

So I placed an order with yourself. But it didn’t arrive. In its place was a package with my label accidentally attached, screwed up a bit. But when you turn the box over there is another label with a totally different name on for some one in Coventry!! My package hasn’t arrived. This all happened on sat 28th December. I would like the order t be delivered again please. Hope this can be sorted out. Thank you.

I see a lot of people complaining about Evri. I have had nothing but good experiences with them so I guess they work well in this area. If you were to change delivery partners, I hope Evri would remain as an option because I cannot bare having to deal with the likes of DPD.

Secondly, fragrance needs to be stronger! You have done an amazing job with the likes of Duvet Day and Icing on the cake, these smells linger for ages! But Aurora and Oud just lose pretty much all scent after a tumble dry which is so sad as I love both of those!

I have only just placed my first order this afternoon and I am so excited to receive my goodies. The scent of my freshly washed laundry has always been really important to me and I’m really hoping that when my new shampoo and conditioner arrives my washing will smell amazing x

I love everything Tallow & Ash however I have to agree I find that the shipping takes too long, I think 48hrs would be good to wait but it takes a full week to receive so it is difficult when you do run out I know there are subscriptions but that does not help me as I don’t get money at the same time

I have to agree with the previous comments regarding Evri. As one person suggested, a choice of delivery company would be appreciated. My experiences with Evri have been diabolical. They are impossible to get hold of and consistently mis or fail to deliver.

Waiting dispatch all week . I needed them in two days. So what is the point to buy online if I have to wait without washing the clothes? I wouldn’t buy if I knew.

I love the ideas you have for the business and I can’t get over how good the scents are.

I’d really love it if you had more in stock at once. I’ve been trying to get some fabric sprays but the ones I want haven’t been in stock at the same time or at the same time as my preferred laundry scent. I’m too tight to keep paying a delivery fee so I’ve made no further purchases so far.

I was also wondering what you might be doing to reduce your plastic waste going forward? I’ve recently swapped from a no-plastic laundry brand because I wanted a scented product for a change, but between plastic guilt and unreliable stock, I’m considering swapping back.

It would be wonderful to have a way to send back empty refill pouches to be reused

Definitely need Enigma to be a permanent scent in your collection and in a fabric spray too please. It’s sooooo gorgeous ❤️ look forward to you doing refills on spray bottles as using less plastic is always a winner with me.

I really have to have Enigma back permanently on my laundry shelf, absolutely my favourite scent & yes I’ve tried them all.

I’d really like to have a choice of couriers as so far I’ve had 5 parcels get damaged with Evri. They didn’t even get to my front door.

Sample packs have been hit and miss, 2 separate elf care containers leaked in transportation.

Lastly customer service has been horrendous over the last month. Waiting 3 days for a reply to a conversation on instagram messaging & still waiting for my salted moss and Odyssey sprays which I purchased within 2 minutes of their launch has really put a downer on a normally great shopping experience.

Please could we return packaging for reusing or recycling.

I’ve only ordered a couple of times from you as I live alone so I don’t have tons of washing to do regularly but I’d like you to make some visible difference to your shampoo and conditioner bottles e.g. if it’s a pink shampoo bottle with white writing then the conditioner bottle could be reversed out in white with pink writing? I have to read the bottle every time I pick it up to make sure I’ve got the right one!!! Or do a broad white stripe around the shoulders of the bottle or something visually to distinguish between the two. Thank you!!!!

I love your brand – your customer service is usually speedy to respond and the quality in your products is unrivalled.

I have had a few issues with only being sent one set of my mystery subscription when I’m subscribed for 2x sets monthly. It has happened again to me this month, still waiting on a response but that’s understandable with festivities. That’s the only slight criticism I have.

As a suggestion to make it slightly better for those ordering a mystery subscription, I would also like to be sent two different scents a month rather than two sets of the same scent! I order for them to come at once just to stock up but I would love to get two scents at the same time as that’s part of the appeal of ordering a mystery set for me.

I was really happy to see that you are starting to reward subscribers too because I do often feel you miss out on things. Sometimes if there’s a limited scent, it would be nice to be sent that in the mystery subscription as I always miss out on that.

You can start shipping internationally again and actually provide product to your international customers that invested in your brand.

Please do something to make the scent last through a tumble drying cycle. The scent is barely there even after only 20 mins in the dryer.
I’ve received a few orders where bottles or samples have leaked or wrong products have been sent so could you look to fix this before bringing out new products please. And if you’ve sent out the wrong product then offering a customer a discount code so they can make another purchase of the product you should’ve sent but didn’t is just sooo wrong. If you make a mistake, own it and fix it without expecting the customer to incur additional expense.
Please make lots more of the Rain & Salted Moss Fabric Cleansing Perfume because every time it’s back in stock it sells out almost instantly and I haven’t managed to bag one yet!

I’d love a nice coastal fragrance. Bahama breeze or Bali spa type fragrance. Ocean fresh scent ready for the summer. maybe a coconut scent would be nice. something like a QUAl ST BARTS- DUPE would be nice.

I’m only just about to finish what’s left of my Enigma please consider bringing it into the permanent range if possible as it smells absolutely divine, I love it. I read your 2025 goal list, exiting stuff. I agree with Helen. I have ordered frequently bottles for home and sample packs to go with me as travel frequently..I gave you some feedback on the samples because I had some sachets with split seams. I thought an acknowledgement would have been forthcoming. It didn’t prevent me from buying again but it’s not good customer service.

I’d love for you to have a policy that if you make something you leave the option open to add it to your core line. The Enigma shampoo and conditioner is the best masculine smell (and the scent stays!) I use it for my husband and four boys and use my dwindling stock of Fresh Pistachio for me. I feel sad to think these will be forever gone. I love them far more than everything else (even Oud). Please please add them to your core line, even in small batches or short runs 🙏🏻

Your marketing team do an amazing job, a really unique concept which I love! I think you are missing a trick with a campaign dedicated to promoting the products to parents & people with sensitive skin. I read comment after comment on mum groups looking for a laundry products as their little one has eczema. I’ve tried all sorts for my baby & T&A is the only one that delivers on its values & doesn’t cause any irritation to his delicate skin. Even a product with ‘baby’ in the name & a lighter baby powder fragrance would be a hit 😊

I love your products so much- honestly I have a double lined shelf at present… I would love to see Enigma become a permanent fixture in your stock- were the notes ever released?

Couple of things I would like to see improve are the speed of dispatch and the answers to difficulties. Throughout this year I have raved about how amazing your products are to friends and family and I was recently really disappointed that a family member had emailed to share their experience of receiving a laundry perfume that had leaked, to be sent a voucher for 30% off their next purchase. I feel that this should have been replaced as they are expensive and in times like this people are indulging in products like laundry perfume- these are not essentials and if they are not getting value for money they will not re-purchase.

Need to sort out postage costs to N Ireland £5.99 is a lot and free postage doesn’t apply even on big orders that other buyers can avail of. Other small companies can keep their postage costs competitive and include free shipping when the spend threshold is met. I did suggest that maybe investors like myself could avail of the original delivery costs as an investor perk but never heard anything back.

Tumble dryer sheets for 2025!

reducing or eliminating plastic packaging would be a million steps in a good direction. I was a little surprised and disappointed to find the products boasting it’s eco friendliness being shipped in single use plastic mailers :(

I think it would be cool to have a “blank” bottle too that doesn’t specify a fragrance so if you want to change up which S+C you’re using but change your mind, you can just buy refills and don’t forget to ignore the bottle haha.

This all sounds fantastic! Something that I think is crucial to the brand is developing the returnable refill scheme that you advertised a long time ago. It’s great to be thinking of new products, but this is something that was discussed and seemingly forgotten. Clean chemistry also needs a clean recycle scheme

If there was a way to retain the scents better when tumble drying, as I find the clothes loose a lot of the scent during this process. They smell amazing straight out of the wash, but I’m not one for hanging clothes on radiators around the house (nor should anyone be, as it’s so bad for your house), nor do I air laundry on a washing line outside, so the tumble dryer is a frequenter in this household, and it would be great if the clothes could still smell as good afterwards! Thank you 🤍

I think you should do a lady million fragrance of washing liquid

One thing I’ve noticed when using your products is how much the scent fades when using the tumble dryer compared to drying outside. So tumble dryer sheets would be an awesome addition to your stock.

First of all… You guys have totally DEMOLISHED your first goal!! You’ve rewritten the book on customer engagement!!

I’d really love you to explore less liquid options (like laundry sheets!). I love your eco credentials (one major reason I invested in the original round!) but shipping water based products, even just within the UK, is a carbon usage & storage issue that could be kicked into touch if you maybe teamed up with a company like the Green Co? Or DIY it!! You’ve proven your invitation status when you rewrote the laundry book!! 🥰 I currently have a cupboard FULL of beautiful T&A products, but being able to store it in 1/10th of the space and not shipping water based products would make me even more of a champion for the brand! X

Absolutely love your brand and have also gotten my mum hooked. We only use Tallow&Ash for our laundry now.

I absolutely love your products and I have recommended you to so many people and will continue to buy from you. Customer service wise, I have to say I was so upset when my parcel was missing from my doorstep and your customer service just told me to take it up with the police. I understand as a small business you can’t just take people at their word, but as a repeat customer, I was really upset that I had to buy the item again as it was a Christmas present for my Mum.
