Après de nombreux tests, nous sommes enfin en production avec nos nouveaux bouchons, qui équiperont les bouteilles avant le Nouvel An ! Nous avons passé un peu plus de temps à les développer pour garantir leur adaptabilité. Ainsi, même si vous possédez d'anciennes bouteilles, vous pourrez toujours les utiliser !
Tout d'abord, et surtout… fini les languettes d'extraction ! Nous en avions initialement ajouté une pour éviter les fuites pendant le transport, mais vous nous avez fait part de la difficulté à l'ouvrir, surtout si vous avez les ongles longs ! De plus, en magasin, vous pourrez sentir les parfums du flacon !
Nous l'avons rendu plus hermétique, donc sans la languette de traction, vous n'avez pas à vous soucier des fuites lorsqu'il est en route vers vous.
Ces nouveaux couvercles sont également beaucoup plus rapides à produire car ils ne nécessitent qu'une seule rotation au lieu d'enfoncer le bouchon puis de le tourner, ce qui signifie que nous pourrons expédier vos commandes plus rapidement !

The pull tabs are definitely not long nail friendly, had to open with end of a teaspoon 😀
Hi, I’ve been sent two bottles, 1 with the old lid and 1 with the new lid. Unfortunately the new lid is faulty. The whole lot comes off as if the funnel is stuck inside the lid. I’ve tried everything to separate them it’s not parting
I always have to ask my husband to open the bottles for me so I would be so happy to try out the new lids 😀

On the subject of lids and refills, is there a way for me to ‘turn around’ the spouts on my bottles – they ate not aligned and point in different directions. I struggle everytime I refill and the shampoo is more problematic pouring into the lid to measure. Any tips or tricks I’m missing as every month I’m wasting bits of product when topping up the bottle from the refill bags. Cheers
I really struggle with the pull tabs I have to use the handle of a spoon to leaver it of the bottle. I can only imagine how hard it would be to remove for anyone with a disability affecting the strength in their hands.
I too have changed from the bottles to pouches but find it difficult to get the small screw tops unscrewed. I know this sounds a very strange statement but found the liquid was stronger in smell in the bottles to the pouches, I do understand that the liquid comes from the same place but that is my thought.
Just reading the messages, I too found the pull tabs hard to get out. Have received the new bottle lids but find they leak out the side if. you pour too fast, so just need to do it slower.

I’m so glad the pull tabs going, my nails are so grateful 😂 I’ve had to resort to using a spoon – not ideal and has meant I’ve pulled the whole pouring/lid section out a couple of times.
We have been using Tallow & Ash for a few weeks now and we can’t get enough of it! I’ve got really sensitive & eczema prone skin, so I hardly get to use any fragrance on my body, but T&A’s fragrances always make me feel super elevated & they get the best compliments 🥹

The lids are really hard to get off but everything else is amazing gorgeous smell and I’ve bought about 6 different ones already won’t go back to pods after using tallow and ash

I think the new spout & lid are a much better design and more in keeping with the whole aesthetic of the bottles. Like many others on here, I’ve struggled to remove the tabs. Well done everyone involved in the new design. Whilst it would be nice to be picked to trial the new design, I’m just looking forward to the new bottles being sat on the shelf in the laundry room and getting a lovely hit of one of the gorgeous scents whenever I go in there.

I’m so excited for the new lids. I’ve got rheumatoid arthiritis and I was having to use a knife to slice open along the inner circle with a fruit knife to get the old bottles open. I love your ethos of listening to the customers and making changes based on our experience.
Great to see new lids. Spillage and product residue around the tops was an issue. If you already have a subscription can you request new bottles rather than refill pouches to replace the original bottles?
The bottle opening should be large enough to easily refill.

I have had to use a pointy knife to cut out the pull tab as I can’t pull it out and I use the colour catcher sheets to wipe out the inside of the caps (pop it in with the wash)to stop any of the liquid spilling down the sides of the bottle.
Having a chance to trial these new lids would be great opportunity.

I must have wasted a good bottle each of laundry shampoo and conditioner from them leaking when I pour into the measuring cap and again when the cap gets put back on the bottle. The amount that dribbles down is quite a bit so does get a bit messy when trying to wipe and wash the bottles down. The shampoo really does create a lot of suds!
I can’t wait to see how these new pourers and lids work to keep the liquids in the bottles!

Hi I’ve recently bought 4 bottles for the first time and I’ve got to say they smell absolutely devine. I did struggle opening them as I have fibromyalgia and my fingers can become painful 😣 so to hear the news about the new opening is amazing! I will now be purchasing some more. I can’t wait! Apart from the terrible pull tab my “Icing on the cake” shampoo was leaking when I received it and left a lovely brown mess all over the carpet at my front door! It did however leave a lovely smell once I managed to clean the mess. The new lids look great and will hopefully mean no more leaks!
Such good news! I know I was one of those who ‘complained’ about the ring pull which resulted in the whole inner being dislodged 😳😊 I managed to get it back in….but it’s now permanently at an angle!!! So it’d be great to be chosen to trial the updated lids but even if I’m not at least I know that they’re going to be 100% better going forward 😁👍

Thank you! As a fairly new customer I intended to feed back my own difficulty with the pull rings but hadn’t quite got round to it. I split the conditioner as the lid came off with the pull ring when I finally got the first one off. I have arthritic fingers so feared I’d have to draft in help if I wanted to keep on purchasing your lovely products. X

I have just bought my first bottles of detergent and I could not open them, couldn’t grip the tabs mainly because I have long nails but also because they were just so hard to get hold of I had to get my husband to pull the tabs, must admit this put me off and was not going to order anymore! Love the look of the bottles, only down side was the lid! Nearly took my nail off one time trying to open them. Plus they did also leak at the side as it would lift the Insert. Even with trying to push them back in. Super excited that this has been changed. ❤️❤️❤️

I have arthritic hands and I can’t wait for these new lids, no more fighting to open the bottle, or having to wipe down the front of the machine because the conditioner or shampoo has dribbled down it. The lids are only issue I have had with Tallow & Ash and unlike a very well known brand whose tubs I couldn’t open you actually listen to your customers and it’s why I’ve stuck with you 💜

This will be a positive change – the spouts have been a frustration of mine (I actually pull the full thing out and use it without a spout)
I love that the lids have changed! I hated having to pull out the tab as sometimes it would take the whole spout with it. This will be so much better for us as customers but also less plastic waste in the environment. It’s not much but every little helps ♥️♥️

Amazing to see companies make changes from customer feedback. My only gripe with the bottles now is they’re too similar. A different shade for one or a different shape and braille would be great for those of us that have trouble reading the text on the bottle.

Pretty please let me trial the new lids! As a disabled young woman I’ve found them super hard to open and just ended up pulling the entire white bit out so I lose a lot of product with spillage as it just goes everywhere but I loooove tallow&ash so much 🥲💜

Either lids for me are fine for now as I just use a spoon handle to prise off the ring pull tab but then again I do understand the reason behind people saying could be better tops and Ive recently noticed arthritis starting in both of my pointy fingers so probably would soon start hurting so would love to try out the new tops for you if I’m chosen.

I love my Tallow and Ash Oud Laundry kit! I will never use anything else now. I was sceptical at first as I have sensitive skin but it is amazing. I have recommended to everyone! The old lids do occasionally leak out product when I’m putting a wash on – so I’d love to try out the new ones!
This new lids it’s a must! I’m not complaining about the smell of my laundry room since I always lose a few drops on my floor/rug.

Just finished my first full bottles after many samples and choosing my scents – I found towards the end the lids were getting funky from the drips so I’m excited to see how these new lids change the experience!
I would love to try the new bottles and will be very happy to give feedback on what works (and what doesn’t – if anything). I’m still dithering about a favourite fragrance and live in a shared house so the scent would perfume the air for ages.
I have painful finger joints so find pulling on the old tab type of lid quite difficult to use so would love to give the new design a try, it sounds like a good decision to change the design.

I’d developed a foolproof technique with an old cake fork to prise the lid off but sometimes if it wasn’t to hand I would be like grrrr trying to get the bottle open. I’d always assumed that design was here to stay so it’s great to hear there is a change coming. Well done team

Been using Tallow + Ash for a few months now & WILL never go back to powdered detergents these are such a game changer my personal favourite is Odyssey. And cloths come out smelling awesome, these guys really have levelled up the game with this range of fine laundry fragrances. Highly recommended if anyone is looking to move away from powered detergents, look no further you won’t be disappointed 👌👍

Yes – the lid and spout on my conditioner bottle failed and the leak resulted in a mark on our wooden work top. Not ideal. It’s frustrating having to wipe the bottle everytime we use it. Glad to hear how proactive you are at finding solutions and making T&A even better!

So glad you changed that Bottle Top, I have chronic Arthritis and if i wanted to catch up with my washing, I had to sit and wait on family or friends visiting as no way on earth could i open the bottle myself, on changing the Bottle Top “THIS NOW GIVES ME A BIT MORE CONTROL OF MY EVERYDAY LIFE” that may just come natural to others HOWEVER to me this is a Giant step and allows me to get on with my washing without relying on others.

I received my first order from tiktok shop a while ago. I was so excited but due to the old lids my birthday cake shampoo leaked before I even opened it, made the bottle look dirty. 👏👏👏 yay can not wait, it has been rather challenging to open at times. I would love to see these in liquid tablets, maybe in cardboard box too to reduce the plastic bottles in future.
Looking forward to trying these new lids. Not having the strongest of fingers, I would have to use a lever to open them. These new lids will make using T&A so much easier!
I love these products, I have 3 so far, I do have trouble with the tab pulls and I do sometimes dribble, so am looking forward to the new lids, they will make a big difference.

Having just received my first ever delivery of the shampoo &conditioner I did struggle to open it, so am pleased to hear you have designed a new lid/pourer to make this easier & look forward to trying it.
The new tops look so much easier to open for us oldies with poor finger joints , I had to prize the old plug off with a screwdriver 😂
I love this! I really struggle with the current lids and having my nails done! Now I don’t have to worry about my beautiful nails and my clothes can still smell gorgeous! :)
I much prefer the new lid. I have taken the lid off of all my current bottles and I can say its way better, so yeahhh i cant wait to have new design. (I still have 8 bottles unopened – i did go a lil crazy last time hahah)

Wow! Yes no more difficulty in opening the bottles, and no more tops flying off as I need to use a lever of sorts (usually a fork) to open them 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Having the pull rings changed is really good news. Having psoriatic arthritis I have had to get help to open these.

Happy to help out trying the new lids! I find when I open the pull tabs I pull so hard I pull the entire lid off! Would be great to see the lids improved and updated!

Me and my mum were talking about this the other day, we thought they had already been changed and were trying to see what the difference is! Would be lovely not to be covered in the product when opening for the first time as I seem to always end up! Excited for the new lids
I had difficulty opening not because of nails but because of weak finger joints due to pain. Hopefully this will stop me spilling it or having to wait for someone else……thank you 🩷
Thank goodness 🙏 you’ve changed the lids . I have had to ask my husband or who ever is around at the time, as i have osteoarthritis, so its been a pain to open them, so this is great news. I would love to try the new lid’s.

I thought it was just me 🤪 and I don’t have nails. As much as I love the gorgeous smell of my new bottle when I open them. I didn’t always want a face spray of it 🤣 so pleased you have simplified it. Good work 👍 T&W xx

I think this is a great idea. As I’m getting older I’m losing the strength in my hands and whilst I could open the lids with a spoon handle, this idea is so much better, kinder to my hands and a bit less plastic in my recying bin!
What a brilliant idea! I noticed the leak when pouring and thought it was the way I tilted the bottle! Would absolutely love to test them 🤞
I’d be more than happy to help test these new lids. I’ve had a couple of orders that have had leaky bottles in the package, and regularly have to wipe clean the bottles before they go back in the laundry cupboard.
I’d love to try the lids out – maybe broke a nail or two on the old pull tabs! So excited to see how this works! Also the old lids used to leak too once used and felt like I was wasting so much product! Can’t wait to see how this one works! X

Would LOVE to try the new lids, I really hurt my thumb nail opening my first ever bottle so was more careful when my next bottles arrived. My bottle of icing on the cake looks a bit messy where the product has leaked in the lid so some new bottles with new lids to refill would be amazing 😍

Thank goodness for the lid change, I literally nearly broke my finger getting the last one off. And pulled out the spout at the same time!!
But omg it’s worth it, it really does smell like my perfume Brazillian crush Cheirosa, or BumBum cream for those who don’t know the scent!!

I am so pleased you are making a change to the lids. I have slight arthritis in my fingers and I can’t tell you what a struggle it can be to open the tops. I either have to ask my husband or get a teaspoon in the loop which I can then tug.

This is great news!! It looks like there are threads on the new outside lid and it seems more secure.
I ordered a sample pack and 2 full size to check out the different fragrances. First thing I did was try to open the bottles for a smell.Not only did I damage my nail in the struggle to pull the ring off, the WHOLE SPOUT was removed from the bottle splashing conditioner up me and on the floor. Luckily, Celestial is a pleasant smell so I didn’t mind but I was a bit put off by the hard work!!
Kudos to T+A constantly striving to be better, I’ve seen a few “improvement update” emails since I joined the crew and it’s impressive to see xx

As someone with Elhers Danilo’s syndrome opening the old bottle was hard. I’m so happy that this change is happening as your product makes laundry chores a lot less chore!
I love the difference in fragrance and I have discovered laundry coming out my machine smells so good I actually enjoy putting it on the airer. Now that might be sad to some but to me it’s a winner. So truly grateful you’ve changed the lids as I make hubby open them, apparently he hates getting covered in liquid, he said why do you buy hand granade washing liquid.
To me it was definitely worth the struggle. (And at times the laugh)

The whole lot came out on the first bottles I bought after much tugging meaning I had no spout and wasted a lot of the product, in the second batch the inner ring pull came away a bit easier and I realised I needed the spout. Great news and fantastic that a company listens and responds to customers, that’s what good service means. Well done Tallow and Ash!!!
No more leaks! Amazing. I lost over half a bottle of Pistachio liquid on my floor because of this. Cleaned the floor which was a win!
I received my first order yesterday is the lid was so hard to remove even with short nails.Had to get my neighbour to help me .Not sure if I will reorder again

The ring pull on the lid was my only dislike of these bottles 😀 other than that I love the different colours and the easy to store shape guys!

I just like the way you solve my problems before I even know it’s a problem. I have long nails and find it really difficult to get the seal lid off so I use cutlery to do it and just put up with it. Others however, have mentioned it and you’re putting it right! Fantastic!

Ago – not to use as I had a different one on the go but to let a friend smell the amazing scent! Broke a nail which then took half the gel with it. Sad days indeed but on the plus side she immediately ordered some providing us both with a discount code through referral 🥳
