My friend Paulina. She grew up with an alcoholic father who made her life a hell on earth. Yet she found the strength to help me when I reached my rock bottom as an alcoholic. Thanks to her I’m now sober for nearly 5 years. It is beyond my comprehension how my behaviour didn’t cause her to abandon me or didn’t bring painful memories. I will be forever grateful and such care and selfishness cannot go unnoticed.

My mom: she spent 35 years being a housewife and raising 4 children pretty much alone. My dad was a coal miner his whole life as he was the provider and wanted my mom to have a good life at home with the kids but the hardships she had to experience just shows me what powerful and strong woman she is! 4 kids and dads two diagnoses and she never gave up🥹 still do this day she cares for my dad and my disabled brother and never complains or makes it look like a chore, she does it with love… I just hope I’m half the woman she is when I’m her age, got pretty big shoes to fill here🥹
