It is my favourite please leave it alone .Everyone comments about the fragrance I don’t understand the negative comments as I’ve never noticed a difference in the smell

Can’t understand the negative comments, as I think it’s THE MOST INCREDIBLE scent ever! My clothes smell of the fragrance for days, please do not change at all. A tip in case this helps, I wash my clothes on a lower temperature. Hope this helps! Xx

I think celestial smells different on washing to what it smells like in the bottle, the scent doesn’t mix well with 40 degree water and hot fabric it changes the whole scent. Maybe bring out a lemon 🍋 or zingy fresh scent instead .

The scent in my opinion is awful.had to re wash my bedding.need to change this scent.

To me, it smells like I’ve washed a pair of soiled pants in with it. I’ll have to re-wash the whole load, since my bedding now smells like doo-doo to me.

I tried this today as part of the sample pack and I’m afraid it was vile. Bad enough that I washed the load again to get rid of the smell. I can’t really describe it other than to say it was unpleasant and oddly chemical. Maybe the neroli? Not sure. I would not buy this one. Colour of the bottle is alright, not sure what people have against it… Date Night though – that’s lovely!

When I opened the bottle I liked the smell and was looking forward to using it, but when it came out of the machine it had the most horrible chemical smell that I find hard to describe. I washed it at 40° and emptied the machine immediately after it finished.
To give it a fair shot I dried half in the dryer and the other half was air died. It didn’t make a difference, the clothes in the drier lost some of the bad smell due to the heat but it was still there. The items that were air drying absolutely stank! It was so bad my 8yr old daughter came in and said ’what’s that horrible smell?‘. I had to rewash everything in Oud to get rid of the stink.
Its really is strange. .Its maybe some kind of chemical reaction or something.
I dont mind the colour of the bottle, not my favourite but the colour wouldn’t put me of buying it.
Definitely wouldn’t buy again and will be pouring the rest away.
Absolutely LOVE the rest of the scents though!

I love this one because Jasmine is a favourite of mine but do agree with one of the comments that Jasmine needs to be brought out more. If I had any comment, it would always be a stronger smell but that is my preference.

This is a lovely aromatic combination – I would bring out the jasmine notes more – rename, recolour and repackage.

For me it’s the packaging color. It’s quite off putting. But the smell is incredible. Not sure why the color matters but surprisingly it does! But I’m buying it now!

This is so far my favorite smell, it’s clean but flowery, not too ‘perfumey’ like some of the others which are a little too overpowering/manly for me. I will definitely buy this for me and my husband and the light blue one for the kids clothes…

I added another comment not sure if it was sent so sending again .After reading other comments I wanted to say I agree that Celestial has a very strange musty smell that lingers after drying its horrible .Also I don’t like that you are using so much plastic instead of sending refills .I don’t agree with using plastic as it is very bad for the environment and I don’t want to be receiving these big bottles . Why as a Vegan company are you not offering refills in biodegradable packaging as that would be far better .

HiI am working through my samples at the moment .So far have tried 3 diff ones and am disappointed as the smell does not linger long .Fragrances so far duvet day …the bahama one sorry I have forgotten the name and Celestial which has def been stronger but I am not keen on fragrance .I am hoping that the others will be better esp the Oud one as that’s the one I chose for my large bottles .

I got this one and the sample set, it’s my favourite for the kids school uniforms. I have different scents for different jobs, it is perfect for uniforms because I wash all the uniform on a Saturday and it all still smells amazingly strong on the following Friday!

For me, Celestial is a delightful scent…but not necessarily what I would expect or want on my laundry. It’s almost a room fragrance, or a personal perfume. Not something I necessarily would appreciate on my laundry. :)

I am slowly working my way through the discovery pack, so I haven’t yet found the scent I enjoy most.

I tried it again after your post – thought maybe it was a bit sickly sweet (smelling it on the line outside), but ……. my sister came round for dinner. Said “what’s that lovely smell in the conservatory?”. I gave her my set, put my washed bedding back and OMG I’m in sleep heaven, but have got to order another for myself because it really is AMAZING!!! and GORGEOUS !!! Don’t change anything ❤️❤️

LOVE THIS SMELL! Please don’t change a thing…I bought it first as its my fav colour and goes with my retro kitchen aesthetic/ Smeg / Swan products. It’s so addictive to smell too.

I definitely agree with someone who mentioned purple makes them think of lavender but to be fair I’ve only tried one smell so far (oud) and still want to try more but sample pack is actually expensive for what you get (£12 for 6 washes) and committing to entire bottle is risky!

This is a sumptuous fragrance that without your email asking for feedback I would have left to the absolute last to try from the sample pack I ordered, entirely because of the colour! Purple does not appeal. I would suggest a midnight blue instead but that might be too close to Odyssey

I bought it but not sure if I’ll repurchase. I like the smell but it is just not strong enough and fades too quickly. If I have to use teo capfuls dven for half loads that are not very dirty, it would turn up too expensive and wasteful. Pls strengthen the perfume and lasting power

Hi I have just tried the celestial washing shampoo I just love the smell it is beautiful makes my clothes so soft I will buy again what if you changed the name to heavenly Devine thankyou.

Celeste would be my favourite but the smell is lost after a wash I use the recommended 2 caps of the shampoo and 2 caps of the conditioner, ( I am in a hard water area) but found the fragrance is lost after the wash. I have also found that my 12kg washing machine it needs 4 caps of shampoo and 4 caps of conditioner to get any washing with Celeste clean or smell nice after drying. I have found Odyssey hold the fragrance with the children’s schools ware, but it need 4 caps or shampoo and 4 caps conditioner but the smell lasts a few day what is very good.
I love that there no harsh chemicals as my children suffer from bad skin.

I didn’t even realise the scents were neroli, Jasmine and amber (which are all scents I love) because the name and colour makrs me think it’s going to be a real unnatural smell. A purple bottle called celestials makes me think it will be overpoweringly sweet rather than floral.

It’s the colour of the bottle – put it in a black bottle = perfection

This is my favourite I just wish the smell lasted longer on clothes.

The Bahama Vibes scent is vile. It’s so overpowering and synthetic that I rewashed my linen with my bogstandard laundry detergent just to get rid of that smell.

Now I’ve tried it in the discovery pack I love it, but when I was making my first couple of purchases I was a bit put off by the colour (bit too bright) and the description – I really hate Thierry Mugler perfume so reading that the profile was similar totally put me off.

I find the smell has an artificial undertone and whilst there is longevity, the scent is very different post wash whilst the laundry is still wet and then different again once dry. I wasn’t a fan of it on my clothes and even less so when washing my bedding with it and air drying outside. The scent straight from the bottle is nice, not my favourite as I find it too intense but post wash and post dry it really changes in my opinion and becomes slightly unpleasant. I bought a full size bottle set and wouldn’t repurchase. I absolutely love oud.
Also I would love to see something that was a dupe of Dior Ambre Nuit or Santal Noir.

Received the samples, and found this scent lingered the most. I would say it smelt too much like man’s aftershave, but would buy again.

I don’t mind the fragrance, though it isn’t my favourite. Perhaps if the scent was a little stronger? I don’t think I’d order it again, but I rank it above Odyssey and leagues above the coconut one which is synthetic and cheap smelling (sorry)

Hi, just a response to the comment regarding celestial and tested as the best smelling but worst selling feedback. I echo someone else’s comments regarding the smell once the laundry is dried, it’s not the same smell as it’s changed into something else.

It’s definitely the colour, if it were more of a pastel colour, maybe a yellow then I think it would sell more. I actually didn’t even look at the ingredients because of the colour of the bottle but actually would like to try it after seeing what’s in it. ☺️

I washed my shirts with this & left them with a very sickly sweet smell. Not at all fresh smelling!! I wouldn’t order the larger bottle after using my sample pack of this.

I had the sample packs and this was my least favourite. I prefer the more musky/aftershave type smelling ones. Having this in the multi pack is making me not order it. Sorry folks!

I am glad we had been asked about celestial .When i bought the samples i fell in love with the fragance but when i bought the bottles the fragance smells different ,more green and a bit bitter .Dont kniw how to describe but the smell is not so nice anymore .It has put me off buying them again but would buy oud and the pink one .

I didn’t like either. Can’t put my finger on it on how it was but I didn’t like it. My favourites so far (I got the sample pack to try all) are Odyssey and Aurora one. The one left to try is the coconut one , which I bought the big bottle 😁

I couldn’t get a sample for it, but bought it as a full bottle because of the feedback.
I love the colour of the bottles. The scent gave me headaches and I ended up giving them away to my sister. I couldn’t stand the smell on my clothing and put them all in the wash again.
I think my favourites are Odyssey or Aurora. I will be buying those next time.

The smell doesn’t have longevity!

I love the smell, it’s simply divine and smells really expensive, but it doesn’t linger quite like the other scents. I wish it was a little bit stronger and it would be my number 1 every time!

It smells lovely in the sample pack but I didn’t find it to smell strong enough on my dried clothes compared to Oud which is my favourite as the scent lasts for weeks on bedding.

I do absolutely love celestial but I tend to use it for clothes where I’ve been using oud for bed clothes and towels

The Celestial was my favourite one out of the sample set I received! Smelt amazing and lasted really well!
I must say the colour of the bottle isn’t my favourite. Maybe something more neutral!

I’ve not tried it yet as in my head the colour instantly makes me think it’s going to be overpowering and I think I read that it’s like the Alien perfume which I do like but that’s overpowering so I guess I’ve drawn that conclusion

Smells exactly like a certain popular perfume which is fab if you wear that perfume but not so great if you wear literally anything else.

This is my least favourite scent in the range. I’m pretty sure it is the neroli and the rose that put me off. The scent combined with the colour of the bottle just gives me old granny blue rinse vibes. 😬

I have just finished my bottle of celestial from my box of everything. Unfortunately for my son it smells too feminine.
I have also air dried indoors ready for winter, one wash from every option. Unfortunately this is the only scent that doesn’t retain the scent after being air dried and my washing smelt damp to the point of having to wash everything again 😭

I wonder if it’s the name. I love the smell and only reason I haven’t bought it again is because I wanted to try others too! Your samples won’t work for me as my washing machine is an auto-dose system

I bought the box of all fragrances, Odyssey is my absolute favourite, celestial is nice enough but I think for me personally a bit too floral! I think it all boils down to personal choice ultimately.

I love the smell of Amber but hate the smell of Neroli. So I’m afraid that is what would put me off choosing this one. Like others have said the perfume bottle doesn’t fit with the scent description. An amber/gold coloured bottle would be more appropriate.

Absolutely love this smell…it IS the best smelling one! All the others were either too overpowering or underwhelming. Celestial is just right, not too strong that it made me smell like a man who had fallen in a bucket of aftershave, nor too feminine that my boyfriend liked the smell on him as well. Well balanced, don’t change it PLEASE 🙏🏻

I have to say I hate the colour. Purple automatically makes me think it contains lavender which is something I definitely don’t want my clothes to smell of.
Different coloured bottle and I’d pick this as it would stand out more and be a better representation of the beautiful scent it is.

Hi, I’ve got it and it’s really disappointing. I wouldn’t buy it again and am thinking of gifting it to someone. Back to my two faves (can’t remember the names but pink and dark grey)

I absolutely love this. It’s my favourite out of the whole range and will be ordering more soon. I’m looking forward to trying the elixir when it’s available. If anything I would almost like the scent to be a little stronger/longer lasting. Smells great when it comes out of the wash but fades quite quickly in my opinion. Regardless I will be ordering more along with Bahamas. Of all the bottle colours this is my least favourite though. I am patiently awaiting the release of your Vanilla & Tonka fragrance..

I think it might be because it smells like Zoflora Midnight Bloom 🤔 but I like the smell but would prefer Odyssey

I find alien perfume really strong and overbearing so I would never have ordered this thinking it was similar.
However, I ordered the full collection and YES, in now agree – this is lovely!! Potentially smelling like Alien really put me off

I haven’t yet smelled it (have a sample) but I didn’t order it as a full size product because although the scent sounded appealing, I worried it might be too heavily floral and a little cheap smelling (like Bold or Surf). The description didn’t have those crisp, very clean notes that attract me in laundry but I hope to be proved completely wrong.

Celestial is my favourite scent, but my husband moans when I wash his clothes that it smells too much like perfume so I have to wash his stuff separately which is a bit of a pain!

I don’t find it strong enough. I don’t think it smells anything like Alien perfume at all. I’m not really keen on the smell on paper it sounds great but in reality I can’t pick out any single scent. Sorry not a fan.

I adore the colour choice for this fragrance, and the bottle design is classy, no problem there…..I love jasmine and amber, but not neroli, it just doesn’t ‘click’ for me….I use all your other scents in the range, all gorgeous, but this one I find a bit unappealing, maybe because I find it too similar to a mainstream scent that I do not like???

Smells amazing. And happy with wash. Would be great to do refills rather than endless plastic bottles though (which weren’t very full).

In your recent campaign regarding Celestial being best smelling but worst selling; I think it has to do with the notes being perceived as not strong or intense enough to last as long as say oud. Neroli, Ylang Ylang & Jasmin (florals) by their very nature do not give me the confidence that the smell will last hence I tend to choose other scents. I appreciate that there are other notes in Celestial, but it comes across as floral dominant both the top notes & mid notes in particular and therefore the scent is perceived as being light and airy and not intense enough to last as compared to the rest of your line up.

I received all the samples and this is by far my favourite. Going to order full size!

I got some of this in a sample and it does smell nice but it’s not a smell I want my washing to smell of. It reminds me of the perfume alien and that’s just not my scent and I also have a teenage boy who wouldn’t want to smell of it

I love Celestial! It’s my absolute favourite of all your products! No idea why it’s not the top seller, it’s definitely the best!

I do like both Celestial and Duvet Day but for indoor drying on the airer they are a bit too strong and the scent is a little overpowering.
For indoor drying I use Bahama Vibes and Aurora which are more subtle (also my faves)

Hi, just responding to your queries about Celestial and obviously these are my personal opinions.
1. Celestial is a dupe of the fragrance Alien. Alien is known to divide opinion, its a love or hate fragrance. I bought a selection of Tallow and Ash as I like to change it up and while I have my favourites, the others I chose I still find pleasing. I don’t think you will get the same type of buying with a fragrance like Celestial (Alien.)

2. When I washed my duvet in Celestial it has a rather unpleasant aftersmell. I know how hard you guys trial things but go wash a duvet and put it on your bed. There’s something there x

I just tried my sample of Celestial in the wash I’m currently doing, and it’s not for me. I didn’t expect to like it as I’m not a fan of jasmine, but I want to try all of your scent profiles to find my favourite(s). Still working my way through the sample sachets, but so far my fave is Bahamas.

Re celestial – it is my least preferred because it smells really artificial and to me even had a slightly feacal undertone.

For me I think it’s the colour! The other bottles are just nicer even though I love all the scents :)

I personally haven’t tried this scent but I think the oud, duvet day, odyssey bottles are more visually appealing than the bright purple – perhaps the others are seen as more “luxurious” colours than the purple? Others may disagree of course!

Re celestial – smells amazing. Think it’s the ugly colour of the bottle? Doesn’t reflect the classy scent!

Uncertainty for me
I’m not sure from the description I’d like it – maybe offer the option to add sample sizes of single fragrances to a full size order (oud for me so far). Or slip in the odd freebie?
I know I won’t like some of the range (no shade, tastes differ) so the collection of samples isn’t that appealing. Maybe you could do a pick and mix version of the sample collection?

It’s the least favourite so far from my selection pack. I think it’s too sweet smelling. And perhaps over-scented. It’s similar to a strong but inexpensive perfume

Celestial smells amazing (just like alien!!) but the fragrance does not continue after the wash. Oud is excellent for this my clothes smell so amazing when I come to wear them but celestial was disappointing so I have not tried it again. I have ordered the Bahama one which I cannot wait to try!

I personally think it’s the colour. I picked the oud partially for the fact I wanted a more manly smell on my clothes but also the colour of the packaging went with my kitchen, I have these on my work top and think it looks fab! Maybe less people have purple?

I purchased the bundle with every scent. Unfortunately Celeste is my least favourite. It smells great after a wash but when it comes to drying and I’ve left my wash in the machine for a little bit it ends up smelling bad, never have this issue with any of the other scents, only this one and once the smell goes off it was really hard to wash out again, took 2 washes to get rid of the ‘moldy’ wash smell. So unless you get your wash out immediately after it’s done your wash will smell off. I don’t know if anyone else has had this issue?

The scent for Celestial is okay but I feel like its a bit too ‘overpowering’ for my tastes – I’m not sure how to describe it? I prefer the Aurora and Duvet Day because the scent profiles are more on the ‘delicate’ side – they smell good but don’t need to dominate everything else if that makes sense?
