In the early hours of the morning, awake because of the high levels of pain due to my chronic pain syndrome and feeling more than a little sorry for myself with my depression taking hold, I came across the Tallow-Ash advert.
I took advantage of the saving offers on full-sized laundry detergent and softener sets, and then I spontaneously bought a pack of samples for some pick-and-mix fun.
The speedy delivery and wonderful packaging were a positive start. There are well-designed refillable bottles with pump dispensers that make using them as a person with dexterity challenges much more accessible.
Then, the beautiful scents, which are full-bodied with so many elements and a complete absence of chemical undertones. The smell filled the room.Pulling the washing from the machine, I was taken again by the scent and the softness of the various materials.
The scent lasted throughout the drying on an outside line and through ironing.
I have lost count of the times I’ve stopped to smell the clothes or linen as I’ve ironed and put them away in the cupboards.
My pyjamas still smell fresh after five days of wearing them, and the material is soft against my skin.
Yes, it is more expensive, a luxury, but sometimes it’s worthwhile for the benefits and the uplift in my mental health with the serotonin boost it has given me, something I never thought I’d say about laundry products. I will certainly order them again and recommend the brand to others.
