Discovery Samples...but minis!! What do you think? 💜
Design and packaging are a big deal to us at T+A. Our Laundry Shampoo + Conditioner bottles weren't designed to look great, their rectangular shape means they fit neatly into cupboards and shelves without awkward gaps or wasted space. 🙏
But when we looked at our Discovery Samples, we realised something. Sachets just aren't giving the same clean, considered aesthetic. So we started exploring a new idea. Minis. 🥹
The idea is a beautiful Discovery Sample box with our bestselling scents, each one in a mini bottle instead of a sachet. These minis would hold three times the amount, giving you three washes instead of just one.
We've found that a single sachet doesn't always reflect how people actually do their laundry. Wash loads and machine sizes vary, and everyone has their own preference when it comes to how much detergent they use. 🤗 It's still early days, but before we go any further, we wanted to ask you first.

Although its exciting and marketing works for that visual part of me, my practical side says its excessive packaging, and cost to ship. Not to mention storage to keep in the warehouse for you all. I do like the idea of having the little bottles to travel but how many do laundry on vacation really? If I do, I dont have to bring my own.

The theory is good.. a few washes to get a taste of the scent however, please please do not adopt this approach, the plastic and packaging is is so unnecessary and this unfortunately would have the opposite effect on me as a consumer and i would move away from purchasing them due to this. Could you off the same concept but a small pouch similar to refill pouches? To adopt the plastic bottles seems a very ignorant move , please reconsider

Yes, yes, yes! I didn’t bother with the samples, I just dived right in and bought the one I thought I like. However, not everyone is as impulsive as me and you could very well be missing out customers which you don’t want. Great idea for a gift if there was an option to make it a gift for someone and an excellent idea for when you’re travelling or going to someone else’s house long enough to need to do a wash and they have awful scented, itchy detergent (I have sensitive skin and any cheap stuff just makes my skin go crazy, rashes, itching, drying my skin out). Go for it guys, I find sachets like that difficult to open as I have arthritis. Which opens up another issue with them!

This seems so unnecessary with excessive packaging. A plastic bottle for me to do three washes? If you want to claim it’s more eco friendly because customers can refill this tiny bottle, please consider how many will actually do that. Plus the additional packaging to ship this. Honestly shocked to see so many people telling you it’s a great idea.
