Discovery Samples...but minis!! What do you think? 💜
Design and packaging are a big deal to us at T+A. Our Laundry Shampoo + Conditioner bottles weren't designed to look great, their rectangular shape means they fit neatly into cupboards and shelves without awkward gaps or wasted space. 🙏
But when we looked at our Discovery Samples, we realised something. Sachets just aren't giving the same clean, considered aesthetic. So we started exploring a new idea. Minis. 🥹
The idea is a beautiful Discovery Sample box with our bestselling scents, each one in a mini bottle instead of a sachet. These minis would hold three times the amount, giving you three washes instead of just one.
We've found that a single sachet doesn't always reflect how people actually do their laundry. Wash loads and machine sizes vary, and everyone has their own preference when it comes to how much detergent they use. 🤗 It's still early days, but before we go any further, we wanted to ask you first.

My concern is adding more plastic to the environment. Personally, the sachets work, as I get an idea of a favourite scent; none are ones I wouldn’t buy standard bottles of.
The minis are cute, but are they worth it to the environment? That’s more important. If they are more recyclable than the sachets, go for it.

Have you thought of doing mini versions of your refills pouches instead, less plastic and resealable so less messy than current samples??

I think a bigger sample is a good idea, but I think it would put me off due to the amount of plastic for such short term use.

Yes great idea as sachets are not easy to open. Hope the bottles will be big enough for travel and enough for up to 3-5 washes (or more if can do). 🩷

1 wash is enough for me to know if I like a scent. Personally, it’s more important to me that I can try before I buy on every scent, as opposed to receiving higher volumes of only a few of the scents. The mini bottles are cute though.
