Our new best-smelling, but worst-selling!

Our new best-smelling, but worst-selling!

Help us re-name this product!

In November we launched ‘Candy Beach’. It was meant to be our Flagship product. Our signature brand-coloured bottle and scent. But it quickly became our worst seller! 😂

The fragrance inside Candy Beach is absolutely gorgeous, and the bottle is arguably our most aesthetic. The fragrance is a unique blend of Vanilla, Dragonfruit and Musk… but the product just hasn’t caught on!

Do we need a new name? And does anyone have any good ideas? Or is there something else that’s holding back people trying the product? Let us know what you think before we go back to the beginning on this one!

Would love to hear from you 💜

Definitely a new name. Candy Beach sounds sickly and messy.
How about Sweet Dragon?

Definitely do not scrap it! It’s such a great scent and leaves your clothes smelling amazing, but I don’t think “candy beach” really fits the scent. The name currently makes me automatically think of snow fairy from lush (maybe because of the colour of bottle being akin, and the well known candy smell), and I think you should try to stray away from that, and potentially come out with a similar but reimagined scent to that in future.

The way forward for this one is definitely a name change, potentially a colour change on the bottle. A different “feminine”pastel shade if any. But I’d say a name change is the best foot forward. Something that reflects the vanilla and musk better, as in my opinion I think people are buying it expecting a super sweet fragrance based on the name and aren’t getting it.

I’m not an expert on naming products but something like “Crème Dream” maybe more fitting, or “Sweet Crème” to encompass the sweet notes alongside the more musky vanilla notes.

Rebrand in a green bottle, to reflect the fruity and botanical notes and rename it DRACO, Latin for dragon.
I’d try it!

I love Candy Beach (as do all 3 of my children) and as the person in our household who does the laundry, I order it, alongside date night and celestial (I also order duvet day for our bedding and bahama vibes in the warmer months).
I can see how it would not appeal to many males however as I do feel like it’s a very female dominant scent. My husband isn’t too fussy and doesn’t physically purchase any of the household cleaning products so I just buy what I like BUT when I’ve had friends over and even my mum, I’ve told them about the products and let them have a sniff and my friends and my mum all said the males in their household wouldn’t be a fan.
In conclusion I’d love it if you kept it but don’t think it will ever be a best seller 😬.
