Happy International Women's Day!

Happy International Women's Day for tomorrow!

At Tallow+Ash, around 75% of our team and 90% of our amazing customers are women. 🥰 So celebrating and empowering women is incredibly important to us, not just in the workplace, but in everyday life too, supporting each other, celebrating achievements, and sharing stories about the women in our lives who inspire us every day.

So with that in mind, we’d love you to do the same. Comment below with the woman in your life you’d love to celebrate and tomorrow on IWD we’ll pick 8 comments to receive a scent of their choice. We can’t wait to read about the women in your life that matter most. 💜

PS. Our Mother's Day collection has just gone live! If you're looking for the perfect Mother's Day gift, we've got something for you. Check it out here:

I would like to dedicate this comment to celebrate all moms globally – we wake up every morning with our kids on our mind, we go to sleep thinking about our babies regardless how young or old they are. Being a mom is our highest privilege in life and this makes all moms absolutely invisible and driven. Special callout to my mother who suffers from Alzheimers – she is the strongest woman I know, she is the kindest woman I know and despite the cruel disease she she is a ray of endless sunshine for me and my kids. Happy IWD!

I can’t pick just one! I’d like to celebrate my daughters, who have both, despite having very different natures, become strong women. I’d also like to celebrate my late mum, who, despite struggling with depression for as long as I could remember, had a huge collection of books and I credit her love of reading with what has frequently been a saviour in dark times; she showed me that you should hang on to what gives you passion and purpose. I’d like to celebrate my old teachers – they valued me and nurtured the seeds of self-belief. Finally, I’d like to celebrate my female friends, of all ages. The older ones show that the female spirit is indomitable at any age, and the younger ones keep my faith in equality alive.
