What do you guys think of this Refill Pouch recycle system!? ♻️
When we showed you our refill pouch concept back in August, we had this great comment from Stacey Smith suggesting a system where the empty pouches could be sent back to us to be refilled and reused!
We absolutely loved this idea, as keeping Tallow + Ash as planet-friendly as possible is super important to us. Our initial thoughts are to create a system where once you’ve used 6 refill pouches or more, you can package them up and send them back to our warehouse so they can be reused or recycled correctly. And then as a thank you from us to you, we’ll gift you a free Laundry Shampoo + Conditioner set of your choice!
We want to make this process as easy as possible for you so we’re looking at getting some pre-paid return labels sorted before we get this system up and running but would love to hear your feedback first!

As many of the others in the this thread have alluded too, the fact your pouches aren’t recyclable and your pouch recycling programme is still not up and running (as far as I can tell) I sadly have to cancel my subscription.

Hi there, I’m joining all the comments above re your recycling of the refill packs. I have bought a few from you but am unwilling to do so again until it is easier to send the pouches back to you. As I’m sure you are aware, Bower Collective send out a card envelope to send back once you have a number of empty pouches. If you did this I would have no qualms about buying from you, knowing that I could send the pouches back for ( preferably ) reuse by you as they do.

Please make the pouch recycle scheme a reality – after all places like Citizens of Soil and Bower Collective both do it already. If not I will sadly, not be able to buy from you again as I try to limit single use plastic at all times.

I too would love to be able to recycle the pouches. I’ve just emptied one and been scouring the back to see if it said anything about recycling, even that it could be put in my recycling plastics bin or not. But nothing. Shame. I too love the product, though am not sure I need the conditioner that is always part of the deal. But I love the smell.
