Last week we shared a simple washing machine tip on our socials... and we couldn't believe the response! 😂
Over 500,000 people watched it, thousands shared it with friends and family, and the comments made us realise that lots of people have never actually been shown what the different washing machine compartments are for.
And it makes sense as traditional laundry brands don't exactly teach people how to use their products!
So if you've ever wondered where your detergent, conditioner or stain remover should go, we've put together a guide for you below! 🥳

This is so funny. Don’t people read the instruction manuals these days. 🤔🧐

Do parents not show their children how to use a washing machine when they are younger or to read the informational booklets that come with your new machine . This is worrying if people genuinely don’t know how to wash their clothes 😔

I do know what the washing machine symbols are for, but my quandary is, when using washing liquid in the 2 lined compartment, that it starts to drain away before the drawer is closed, so does that mean that not all the liquid is being used. I only put powder in that compartment and use a liquid ball in the drum for your shampoos.

I agre with Karen Bagnall. Rain and Salted Moss would be amazing for the laundry.

I didn’t think anyone didn’t know this 🤔…it is stated in the manual and if you lost that can always Google for answers! I am surprised 😲
