Discovery Samples...but minis!! What do you think? 💜
Design and packaging are a big deal to us at T+A. Our Laundry Shampoo + Conditioner bottles weren't designed to look great, their rectangular shape means they fit neatly into cupboards and shelves without awkward gaps or wasted space. 🙏
But when we looked at our Discovery Samples, we realised something. Sachets just aren't giving the same clean, considered aesthetic. So we started exploring a new idea. Minis. 🥹
The idea is a beautiful Discovery Sample box with our bestselling scents, each one in a mini bottle instead of a sachet. These minis would hold three times the amount, giving you three washes instead of just one.
We've found that a single sachet doesn't always reflect how people actually do their laundry. Wash loads and machine sizes vary, and everyone has their own preference when it comes to how much detergent they use. 🤗 It's still early days, but before we go any further, we wanted to ask you first.

Excellent idea – can then use them for travelling as well. Also reusable plastic rather than throwing the empty sample sachets away!

But isn’t this more plastic packaging? Samples recycling is tricky, but creating more plastic is not what I want to support through my purchasing.
What I would really love are washing leaves rather than liquid – huge pivot I know but would instantly change my response.

Yes, I think it’s a great idea. Another idea would be a small spray bottle of the fabric spray.
And whilst writing I wanted to add that the fabric spray makes a great room air freshener. We spray it on a curtain for example and works a treat !!

I’m torn because it does feel an unnecessary use of plastics that I want to cut down on my usage of. I’ve always found the sample sachets to be a perfect amount for a wash (sometimes two if I’ve only got a small load). However they do look super cute in the tiny size and would make perfect stocking fillers at Christmas.

Same as Lynn Baynes..more one use plastic as once used it needs to be thrown and we don’t do recycling where we live, they do look great, and the fact there’s three washes in them is much better to get an idea as to whether you do like that scent, but yes sachets are easier for travelling as opposed to a bottle
