I have to say that i’ve followed you guys for a while but i’m not an investor, I love your products but I don’t agree with the business decision to make fragrances only available at certain times or to certain people.
I could get behind the birthday one, that made sense. But I actually can’t get behind the “you can only buy this if you’re an investor”. For those who are not investors and who avidly follow your products it can leave customers feeling a little bit disregarded. The rest of the folks who have bought your products have given you money too, we’ve supported you as well… the email saying “hey look, new fragrance… but you can’t have it” is a little bit crap.
I won’t stop buying your products as a result, and i’m not too butthurt about it, but at the same time it’s just feedback that you might want to consider. I have plenty of your product at home (the birthday one actually which is awesome) but if you had launched a jo malone duplicate and only offered it to investors i have to say… I’d be kicking off.
