I want to nominate my wonderful 26 year old daughter, who left home at 18 to follow her uni dreams. 8 years and a geology degree and an MSC under her belt she is now a social engagement officer for Cornwall’s first geothermal company. She has always wanted to work in the renewables field, saving the planet one step at a time. She works tirelessly with schools, colleges, universities and the local communities spreading the good word of the importance of clean, renewable energy and while doing this encouraging the students of the future to study and believe in STEM subjects ( especially girls). She’s a fantastic ambassador for women in Geology/mining in a very male dominated field. You rock Claudia!

I would like to recognise my wife Izabela! She is the most amazing partner I could ever have asked for. She is currently pregnant and I couldn’t be happier about it. Happy international women’s days!
