This week our amazing perfumers came into Tallow + Ash HQ with some of the fragrances that are most popular in fine fragrance right now because we love looking outside of traditional laundry fragrance for inspiration. Laundry is an industry that hasn’t changed for decades and we believe for something we do so often, the scents should be more exciting, more considered and much more like something you actually want to smell like!

To be honest, I’ve not come across a Tallow and Ash product I don’t love- I didn’t know that something as mundane as doing the laundry could be so captivating! Amazingly, added to this scent sensation is the fact that they really do the heavy lifting in the cleaning too. I grew up in an era and in a community where having a line full of spotlessly clean washing was essential, your status in the street was decided on the cleanliness of Monday’s wash! I know my mum would be using Tallow and Ash products because you don’t sacrifice excellence in clean outcomes to have beautifully scented items-perfect!

Kayali 28 – I make it my personal mission to either smell extremely edible or mysterious 😄 so I have cupboard full of icing on the cake and oud 😉 been wearing Kayali boujee marshmallow all summer but would love the vanilla 28 for the autumn – still edible , less strawberries 🍓 😄
