Was this lady being too honest? 🫣🤪😂🫶

We showed our new packaging, thinking it was great, and a customer commented saying that she didn’t like it 😮

But really, that comment was exactly what we needed! Because honestly, we didn’t like it either 😅😂

We are trying to do something different in laundry, to reinvent an entire industry.

And the way that we designed that first packaging was actually to satisfy the way retail is currently done! But it just doesn’t nail what we are trying to do.

So, thank you!  🫶

We are sending you a free stain pen for giving us the push we needed,  and we’ve gone back to the drawing board 😂

Here’s a few shots of what we’re working on! I’ve labelled them A, B, and C so let us know which one you prefer, and we’ll make it happen!!

C: the packaging for A and B look like you’re selling a vape, which isn’t a good image to sell. C is classic colours, outline what the product is and looks more like a Tallow and Ash product.

A is simple but effective, but B is the choice I’d make. As someone who has a lot of previous experience working as a manager in Retail and more recently managing and marketing projects in tech and banking spaces, B feels like the more premium and relatable product to see on shelves and online. Seeing what you’re getting whilst also having the premium feel in the packaging is always a winner. I would also flag though that, it’s also the most ‘theft simple’ product as the packaging is ‘open’ (Sadly we live in a world where you have to think about this as a business). But I’d still say B is the winner. C is too similar to other products and other packing for any number of other products on the shelves, and could be mistaken. I think B is the way to go, if it was handed to me as my next project, that’s what I’d be looking to work with! 🙂

Definitely prefer B over A but i think C with the more info on might be helpful? But still if I saw B on a shelf I would pick it up and you could have the info on the side packaging of C somewhere else like on the back? Even just the QR code would be good
