After lots of testing, we're finally in production with our new lids, and they'll be on bottles before the New Year! We spent a little more time on them to make sure they were retrofit, so if you've got older bottles you can still use them!
First and most importantly... no more pull tabs! We originally added a pull tab to make sure the products didn't leak in transit, but you guys have let us know how hard it is for you to open, especially if you have long nails! Plus.. when we're in stores you'll be able to smell the scents from the bottle!Â
We've made it more airtight, so without the pull tab, you don't have to worry about any leaks when it's on its way to you.Â
These new lids are also way faster for us to produce as they are just one twist vs. pushing in the cap and then twisting, which means we'll be able to get your orders out quicker!Â
We'd love for a couple of you to test the new lids before they're officially out!

Yay for sleek design! We’ve had a bit of trouble with spillage when pouring into the machine and with a little puppy constantly around our feet it was tough.

I’ve not had any leaking with the current lids but removing the tab leading to a reduction in plastic waste seems like a winning idea
And looks like less chance for crusting around the neck when putting the cap back on after measuring, so also winning!

Love, love Tallow + Ash products, but really struggled with the lids. I’ve tried everything to open the bottle.
would love to try the new lid and to see if it’s any easier.
