Our new best-smelling, but worst-selling!

Our new best-smelling, but worst-selling!

Help us re-name this product!

In November we launched ‘Candy Beach’. It was meant to be our Flagship product. Our signature brand-coloured bottle and scent. But it quickly became our worst seller! 😂

The fragrance inside Candy Beach is absolutely gorgeous, and the bottle is arguably our most aesthetic. The fragrance is a unique blend of Vanilla, Dragonfruit and Musk… but the product just hasn’t caught on!

Do we need a new name? And does anyone have any good ideas? Or is there something else that’s holding back people trying the product? Let us know what you think before we go back to the beginning on this one!

Would love to hear from you 💜

I haven’t tried this scent, but have had the trial pack from you with 6 or 7 different fragrances. My favourite is Oud, but I wanted to say, for the price you charge none of the scents are strong enough. Some you can barely smell. Also for a new launch, there is still a lot of plastic involved. I would only buy from Tallow and Ash again if the detergent was a more sensible price.

I have this product and I think the name is good, it attracted me to buy it. The scent is also lovely. What stops me buying it again is that the scent isn’t strong enough and doesn’t last at all compared to others. My favourites that you can smell for days afterwards are celestial and date night. Maybe work on the strength of the scent to encourage repeat purchases.

It would have been great to try it in the discovery samples as I’ve just picked the ones I liked best from those. I prefer to be able to try them before committing to a full size set. It does sound nice when you read the notes but I think the name makes it sound overly sweet which isn’t really my style (Oud is one of my faves which is not sweet at all). Maybe something more like Sunset Balm or Sweet Serenity. Would love to try it if you do samples!

Hi. Its definitely the name that’s the problem. It just doesn’t sound aspirational.
The bottle is beautiful and reflects the hot colour for spring 2024.
Maybe something like Sultry Shores, Lotus Land (take your laundry to lotus land)

I am a new customer and I would never have known this was your signature scent, as it was not included with my sample pack. Surely, a signature scent should have been included? The sample pack was my first impression of your brand and the scents. If this had been included I may have loved it(as I have the fragrance it’s based on). The name candy conjures up a certain scent for me, sweet & and sickly, so a name change would definitely make a difference. I can’t comment on the scent itself, as like I have said I never got to try it. So my advice, add it to your sample pack(in fact make sure all your scents are in the sample pack, a slight increase in price won’t make a difference to those wanting to buy)and change the name. Hope my input helps.
