I think that Icing On A Cake feels a little understated! Vanilla is a type of Orchid which could make the perfume sound like Exotic Days or something along those lines! I really enjoy the smell and taste of vanilla( but won’t try to drink it or anything!)I think that if you go down the line of favourite smells for people, this would be quite a favourite! X

Icing on the cake is very on trend even with the rainbow colours. Farmers market sounds a bit ‘veggie’. How about farmers orchard? People should not be put off by a brown bottle but I think some might. The peach fragrances work well but Italian to me should always be lemon fragrances with Prosecco – now that I would definitely buy.

NAME CHANGE NEEDED Farmers Market/ Take me Back – I love the sound of these scents and would buy both as a T&A fan but believe the names would be a fail to a wider audience. Farm = stinky farm yard smells Market = dust and dirt. How about Country Bloom or Orchard Walk? (I also like Perry to evoke pear as suggested in a previous comment). Take me Back makes me think of relationship break up, there is no link to the scent. I suggest something like Riviera Morning or Amalfi Memory.

Icing on the cake/Cocoa Butter Kisses – I think these are fine although I don’t like dark brown as a colour. I would want to try a sample of these before buying a bottle as I’m not sure if the scents are my personal taste.

Icing on the Cake bottle looks so pretty & sounds very sweet. Some people will really love this.
Cocoa Butter Kisses sounds just what it would smell like. Could shorten the name further to just Cocoa Kisses. I don’t like the brown colour at all, need a lighter shade of brown or maybe use light pink lettering instead of cream.
I like the green colour & the description sounds fresh & juicy. Farmers Market doesn’t describe the smell I’m imagining. Maybe call it Perry Orchard or Bloom & Perry.
I also like the peach colour as stands out, but the name Take me Back doesn’t work. What about Peach Melba Pie or Peach Melba Blossom.

I think if you had shown the full moodboard you would have had totally different responses.
The bottles standing alone, people will just go for their favourite colours (and not many people would claim brown as a favourite colour…) the second you add visuals and scents to it, the colour is perceived in a different way.

I think you are having some challenges with the names. Why isn’t the peach one called Italian Summers or similar? “Take Me Back” doesn’t mean anything

The issue with the"matcha green" bottle is you described it as matcha which is very marmite. If the bottle had been described as sage green, I believe it would have been viewed more positively. I like the name but again, I would pick something closer to the notes like Secret Orchard.

Cocoa Butter Kisses has been executed the best with name and colour, though could feel more mature.

In love with the icing on the cake bottle and vanilla is my fav smell ever so deffo need that in my life 😂

I love vanilla and gourmand scenes so icing on the cake is a dream for me. I like the bottle too. Cocoa butter kisses wouldn’t appeal to me. Take me back definitely would though. I’m a huge wax melt addict so I’ve tried most scents you’ve got in production or development. Keep up the great work.

PS – I agree with Anita about the white bottle – far too ‘My Little Pony’ and not sophisticated enough. I think earthy brown for the font

Colourwise to match my home – farmer’s market in the beautiful sage green.
So these two would be my first choices!

Love the fragrance of take me back but not sold on the name, something like riviera mornings would be nicer. Icing on the cake bottle looks great but the fragrance sounds too sweet, not sure I want my clothes to smell like cake.

I love the new scent ideas and can’t wait to try. I like most of the bottle colour choices. I’m not sure of the name Farmer’s market, that would put me off selecting that scent, even though the description sounds lovely and I love the fresh green bottle.
The cocoa butter kisses bottle, I would personally prefer more of a rich buttery beige colour, I would be put off by the dark brown colour.

I wasn’t sure if the matcha green but it’s growing on me so much. The scent sounds fresh and vibrant with a touch or patchouli amazing. The peach hmmm not sure of the bottle colour but it might grow on me. I was going to say too sweet but saw sandalwood whoo hoo love sandalwood and musk so it’s a yes from me. Cannot wait 👏🏼

I think all the bottle colours/ names work apart from ‘Take Me Back’ 😬 I LOVE the colour but the name makes me think it might be some weird smell from my childhood which is kind of intriguing.

It is so true about the triangle, each element should work together to bring it to life. Love the visuals, the play on words and imagery. The bottle colours are so important, I imagine what would look good in my utility colour palette! I prefer the neutral and less bright colours. In the new ones presented I would not be so keen on the peach but the story, graphics and scent name make it ok. I love the look of cocoa butter kisses and be my first choice. The white bottle design I don’t think works – the gradient pale font is not strong enough and looked a bit dated and yes, a bit my little pony! The name is great, icing on the cake, I would just do something with the font colour, make it more clean, sophisticated looking. Vanilla, tonka, brown sugar all imply deep, earthy golden brown colours maybe use for the font.

I’m loving the icing on the cake, I love the colour of the wording and I can’t wait to try them both. The farmers market is my least favourite the colour is nice but it makes me think the scent will be mint based.

Again for Take Me Back – the name is on the right track but still doesn’t match up for me personally. Maybe Sumer Haze of Peach Fizz ?

The matcha green farmers market I see where you are coming from – how about “Morning Dewy garden” or " Flower market " something more garden than market, also agree Farmers associated smells could be off putting

I’m so excited to try all of these! Love the sound of all the fragrances, love all of the bottle colours ( I think the chocolate hue of cocoa butter kisses is perfect for it, would have preferred a richer/deeper green for Farmers Market, but I’m quibbling now 😆), love all of the names, except… “Take me back”? I get that it’s meant to have nostalgic vibes, but for me it just sounds like a relationship breakup scenario. Just wanna say thank you for providing these fabulous laundry liquids!

I think you are completely right on the holy trinity of development. However – and I hate to write this because I do live the brand – there seems to be an obsession with linking your scents to food and it’s really off putting! I don’t want clothes or bedding to smell of cake, icing, candy, beverages…. And the names keep implying that they will do even when the actual scents may smell completely different. I like the sound of ones that evoke a mood, so Bahama vibes and date night work well for me and I’d be attracted by names like English summer, pacific breeze etc much more

I think, for me, I really like the white and the paler, cooler, colours. I think I would like those other colours to remain but with more of a hint of them in a sort of – white note quite, like paints. I think the actual colours you’ve chosen seem right but maybe too dark and interestingly the colour of the bottle did draw me to the description. Only one view and hope it helps… Kind wishes.

I’m in full agreement with the name and the scent being as important as the colour. I want to try all the above! The only one which makes me nervous is the peachy one. I look at the colour and instantly get the icky feeling from cheap peachy scents – which I am sure this isn’t but the colour is resonant of all the cheap peachy products that are sickly and chemical. Maybe a softer pinky peach would entice me more. Right now it would be the bottle I would least likely choose even though as an Italian I would love to be reminded of summers back on the amalfi coast 😊

These new “flavours” look great, I particularly like the sound of the “farmers market” scent (although I’d change the name as it sounds a bit too rustic, earthy and cheap…? Perhaps Buds of Summer?) and “Take me back”.

I do love what you are doing, one thing I would point out is that I actually find the scents almost too strong, is there a way to perhaps make the scent a little lighter?

The latest email regarding the ‘Love Triangle’ is spot on! The name, fragrance choices and bottle colour all need to complement each other perfectly.

I love the Farmer’s Market concept. Works for me! Don’t change a thing.

Personally I don’t feel the name Take Me Back works – take me back where? It feels a bit like ‘Back to the Future’ – where am I going back to? What about Peach Grove or better still ‘Italian Summer’ which sums it up perfectly.

I really don’t like the name Icing on the Cake. Guys, remember the mistakes of Candy Beach!! A lot of feedback, mine included, was that reference to anything that felt like it came from a sweet shop was offputting. Please don’t use ‘sweet’ in the description either. It’s just not what I want my laundry to smell like! I’m not against the use of vanilla and tonka bean but it’s a balancing act and it could easily tip over to sweet and cloying, which is why the description needs to be careful in its reference to ‘sweet.’

Love the colours and shape of the bottle’s they are easier to store and look nice on shelf , can’t wait to try the new samples , hope you will be selling them with a couple of others I’ve not tried yet . Washing is now an enjoyable chore .love the scents of them all , odyssey is my favourite though

They all look and sound great, except I can’t get over Farmers Market. When I think of that name I smell meat, cheese, hay, cows and manure. The description and scents though sound really lovely and love the idea of the countryside in summer. Maybe English Summer or something like that would sound nicer 😊 can’t wait to try it though!

They all sound wonderful, but would have to say ‘take me back’, with peach and orange blossom notes would most likely be my favourite, closely followed by farmers market. The cocoa butter and icing on the cake I feel may be too sweet for my taste, but then again as most of your laundry scents are gorgeous, who knows!.

I love the Birthday cake concept !!!! Does it smell like Cake???? Yum ;!!! 💙White bottles go in most households, I’m not sure Matcha green tea is a nice scent what about Jasmine and fresh grass? 9 Although I love the concept of a chocolate oud smell not sure I would buy it because the bottle is brown !

Farmers market when I hear this I think meat and veg stalls sorry maybe call it Farmers Orchard or Farmers Garden or drop the word farmers and call it just Orchard.

Take me back could have another meaning if someone dumped you and you wanted them back. This looks to be the brightest colour yet and suits the orange and peach scent.

The only one I believe needs changing is the peach bottle’s name doesn’t sum up the scent or vibe. Summer Holiday or Holiday vibe or something similar might be more appealing.

I love all of the bottles and names except for Farmers Market. It makes me think of dirt and manure! The Icing on the Cake bottle is stunning! The Cocoa Butter Kisses bottle is too dark. It needed to be a lighter brown.

So, this is what the colours smell like to me:
The white – icing gives me sickly, maybe a nice cream colour? I loveee the idea of the scents but icing in the name is throwing it off into birthday cake scent.
The orange – I need it now, don’t even need to smell it. It’s giving nostalgia of being on a balcony on holiday in a white dressing gown burnt to a crisp smelling of sunscreen. If you could make it smell like Tom Ford Soleil Blanc, that would be fab!
The green – cute colour, name is giving vegetables… automatically takes me to the smell of potatoes which probs isnt too appealing.
The brown – cocoa butter kisses is all I need, a nice out of the shower body butter cream smell, like that of the palmers of Vaseline and you’re golden.
Can’t wait for some samples to drop!

Definitely ICING ON THE CAKE would be my choice.

I like the rainbow lettering on a white bottle… and the key notes… but I feel the name of the fragrance isn’t right… do I want my laundry to smell of cake.. no.
I do however, think the bottle and lettering would be a great launch ready for Pride month in June!

‘Cocoa Butter Kisses’, love the name and the key notes, just not the brown bottle.

‘Take Me Back’ When you smell something, it sends signals to the olfactory bulb, directly linked to areas of the brain that control memory. I love this, the orange bottle reminds me of a summers day.

Agree, we need the whole picture! It was strange just looking at colours in isolation and now that the whole identity of each product has been shared, the colours make a lot more sense. I always personally loved the brown bottle (I have a neutral aesthetic thing going on in my house on general) but the scents and the storytelling of the journey each product will take us on feels complete now. Coca butter and icing on the cake sound totally up my street, but very tempted by the other scents too!

Is that the final name of the new products ? For orange bottle (orange / summer scent)- how about Sunny Gaze or Orange crush?:)

For green bottle , how about Lush garden? Just some thoughts 😃

With the coco butter kisses could you maybe add a hint of dark orange in with the brown? Just so it isn’t so brown if that makes sense!

All are great ideas. Farrmers Market and Take Me Back both appeal to me in terms of the bottle colour and what’s inside in terms of fragrance notes.
I think Cocoa Kisses may be a bit hard to sell. The dark brown colour is off putting in terms of a laundry product. Your mind just says “I want fresh”. Neither the colour or the fragrance notes say either of these.
Icing on the cake, as a sweeter scent sounds more appealing, but I think the white bottle doesn’t really reflect the contents. Try a soft cream for this one.

I hope you don’t mind, but I don’t like a few of your names still. How about:

Velvet cocoa kisses? I associate cocoa butter with a creamy colour, but the bottle is brown like the roasted bean. If it were creamy with brown writing, I think Cocoa butter kisses would work well.

“Farmers Market” is just wrong! Living in the Somerset countryside, stale cabbage and the smell of livestock come to mind! What about English orchard / Country Orchard?

“Take me back” doesn’t evoke the imagery you signal, not everyone will have memories of southern Italy to go back to, but maybe Roman Holiday, or Italian Bellini would work better?

“The icing on the cake” looks nice but maybe the font could be stronger in colour? The fade effect makes it difficult to read on a white bottle, especially for people with impaired sight and you want to be inclusive I expect. Its colours reminds me of “unicorn rainbow sprinkles” my daughter asked for on their cakes!

My favourite the icing on the cake really sets the scene love it can’t wait to try as does cocoa butter kisses and farmers market the only one not sure about is take me back get the peach bit but not sure it would evoke an Italian holiday maybe a name like summer nights ?

The name “Icing on the Cake” doesn’t sound mind, it feels too sweet like candy beach. I think maybe the name needs changing for that😊 Avoid food names as it gives us impressions of the scent which we might not like, that’s why Aurora, Celestial, Odyssey and Date Night sound amazing before even trying them.

Well I must be in the minority! I loved the colour of the Cocoa Butter Kisses bottle but the sweet scent components totally put me off buying it. Whereas I was not particularly attracted to the colour of Farmer’s Market but the pear and patchouli fragrance combo would make me want to try it out. Shows what I know!

I am a new user and only made my first purchase today but I’m loving the sound of the new products. Would be good to be able to buy the complete set as samples to try every fragrance at once though.

I think a dark cream bottle would be more appealing for cocoa butter. It’s a colour that has a warm comfort to it.

I think the top two are great but the name “farmers market” to me doesn’t do the fragrance notes justice. I think more like “English country garden” or “English Orchard”.
And the bottom one I’m not sure about “take me back” with. I was thinking maybe “peach schnapps” or “just peachy” or even “peachy” would be quite cheeky.

Farmers market = smells like a farm in my head, even though I love farmers markets and the vision board is gorgeous. I think I’d go for garden in the name/avoid farms or country.

And before I saw the vision board I assumed “take me back” was referring to an ex boyfriend not a holiday/the summer.

For me all the bottles are gorgeous. No doubt. But it’s the scent is what attracts me. Combine for a killer combo. Now we know the contents of the brown bottle it’s top tier.

I love Jo Malone Pear & Freesia – it reminds me of a perfume my mum used to wear, and I lost my mum 18 months ago so ‘Farmers Market’ would be my definite first choice for that reason. If my laundry could remind me of my mum it’d be lovely. But I love the descriptions of the others too. You don’t make it easy for us!!!

Yes, I think you have got it spot on. Love the white bottle design especially but that was my favourite bottle colour. Please, please, please do samples of all of these so we can try them all before purchasing the bigger bottles. Samples are really important for me, as I suffered a stroke due to covid and my sense of smell has never been the same.

Absolutely love the icing on the cake, and coco butter kisses! The brown bottle is a bit of me, obsessed with neutrals and aesthetic colour palettes plus coco butter is dreamy! 🤎

Icing on the cake sounds sweet and I can imagine exactly what this is going to smell like, good enough to eat! 😅 Love the irresedecent touch!

Cocoa butter kisses appeals to me best and thr name makes the brown likeable.

I don’t like farmers market as it makes me think of meats and smelly cheese.

I think enhance the cocoa butter related ingredients to make it smell more like cocoa butter and go for that one!

Icing on the cake and Cocoa Butter Kisses are perfect – I love them.
Farmers Market reminds me of earthy tones, I don’t think this fits the scent profile. I love the bottle and scent profile but I think the name needs changing – maybe Spring Orchard or Countryside Oasis?
Again Take Me Back is the right line but the name doesn’t match the profile or bottle to me, personally. Maybe Summer Enchantment or Holiday Haze?

I think you’ve absolutely nailed all four of these smells and bottles. I will 100% be buying the farmers market, although the name farmers market doesn’t make me think crisp floral and fruity. Could it not be, English countryside, meadow, perfectly pear, wild flowers?

How about the white bottle linked to an Alpine scent, reminiscent of a skiing holiday, or Alpine walk.
Added to this a three coloured bottle. Sea blue, a warm sand colour, followed by a sky blue. The name ‘Beach Day’ with a flip-flop logo 🩴…..🤷🏻‍♂️
PS…’Farmers Market’ doesn’t work for me.

Can’t wait to try the new products and fragrances. I hope you will not regret the names as you did with the Candy Beach. As i understood, you were looking for a name more elegant and sophisticated. Personally these names i don’t find that classy. Instead of the Farmers market, i would imagine something like: Royal Romance or Autumn Duchesse.

By the way, could you make a collaboration with Penhaligon’s, i would die to have the Luna fragrance on my laundry.

Cocoa butter kisses and farmers market are the ones that appeal to me first, the scents and the colour branding evokes the scent.
Both scents are the ones that I would choose.

They both sound lush and I can’t wait to try some samples the peachy one sounds very summery and icing on the cake sounds exciting.

Good grief they all sound totally lush how am I ever going to decide? Think it would have to be cocoa butter kisses to try first and I think the scent combination has a lot to do with it so stick with….and give it a go!

I love the colour and the fragrances of Farmer’s Market. And I completely understand the decision behind the name. But the first thing that comes to mind is a barn, just from the name alone.

I had in mind (though it might not be that unique) countryside cottage / countryhouse / sleepy village / village market

Nailed the icing on the cake and the cocoa butter kisses but the other 2 I’m just not connecting with.
The green shade doesn’t resonate as a crisp and fruity colour and the orange/peach colour sings more sherbet fizz or even peach spritz (a take on Aperol spritz) which seems to be pictured but Aperol is citrus and not peach so I feel the mood board is a little confusing as I also don’t associate Peaches with Italy.

Why do many sweet scents? I don’t want to smell like a cake shop!! 😂 fresh and clean scents please!! Not sweet and sickly!! Farmers market is the only one I like the sound of

The scent of Farmer’s Market sounds absolutely amazing to me, and I really hope it’s released because I’d love it for all of my linens and more, but I wonder if the name is right? When I hear the scent profile I think of beautiful country gardens, but when I hear the name… as someone who has shopped at a lot of farmer’s markets they usually smell a bit less, lets say, pleasant.

Perhaps a lighter brown to sum up cocoa butter? You associate brown with dirt so that puts me off brown for washing clothes.
For me, the pear and freesia sounds the freshest scent, and you associate green with freshness.
Peach feels fruity, and summery. The scent sounds good, too.
Probably not so keen on the “icing” scent although I like the holographic print on the bottle.

White is making me think I would smell like a fairy cake and the rainbow writing is a bit ‘unicorn/my little pony but the notes amber musk and patchouli are bloomin gorgeous. My fave smells. So that’s the best smell but the green bottle is nicest. Ps please can we have an ironing water spray. In the form of drops that you add to your own tap water.

I think all the bottle colours/ names work apart from ‘Take Me Back’ 😬 I LOVE the colour just not the name. For some reason it just doesn’t make me excited for the scent as your others do and I couldn’t guess what kind of scent it is either without reading more into it.

I like the plain white bottle of ‘icing on the cake’ but there’s something the multicoloured font that’s just not right. It just doesn’t tie in with the brand to me.

Farmers Market & Peach tie in really well with the scent names & notes. I really like the green shade of Farmers Market, it would stand out the most to me out of all.

I need to get my hands on ‘farmers market’ and ‘take me back’. I love how you can just tell what the scents will be by the names of the products!

I love the sound of all of these and want to buy them all. Something about the brown bottle is not sitting quite right, maybe the contrast with the white spout at the top? Or maybe the brown could be different, a cooler tone brown with purpley Bluey undertones rather than a warm yellowy brown. I wish the laundry lab group on Facebook was still an active way to engage with stuff like this.
