I think there is a reason for both. A spray would be useful for just one or 2 things but the powder would be best for the whole wash. I vote for both.

I’ve only just tried the powder and it’s the best stain remover I have ever used. Please do not change it!! I find spray usually less effective than powder.

Different uses for each; powder treats whole wash and all parts of fabric; a spray is useful for spot treatment of stains only. So one does not replace the other but can work together or apart depending on needs.
