Caroline Bentley March 11, 2026

My amazing mum. I’ve had 39 shoulder surgeries and mum has been there for me and my boys for each one, even 1 I had in Germany. She came over and looked after my oldest who was a baby at the time.

Emma March 10, 2026

I’ve recently started using tallow & ash laundry shampoo and conditioner. I must say I am very impressed with the wash and the incredible smell the laundry has afterwards. I shall definitely continue to buy x

Jody white March 09, 2026

I would like to celebrate my amazing partner tanya hall. She raises 3 beautiful children plus is pregnant to our 4th. She has also been my rock whilst my mum was end of life and through her passing. I could not have done any of this without her she truly is amazing.

Gillian Thompson March 09, 2026

Laura moffat my daughter she’s a very busy mum works full time and she’s constantly driving both her footballing sons to matches or training time to herself is just not possible then on top of all that she looks after me doing errands for me and taking me to appointments she just never stops 🫶🏻💕

Liv Vaughan March 09, 2026

I’d love to celebrate my mum, she’s 43 and undergoing a hysterectomy next month, but she constantly puts everyone’s and everything before herself and her own feelings. She’s the strongest women I know and faces everything with her head held high, she’s an inspiration to me and if I could be half the women she is I’ll of succeeded in life🤍

Cheryl March 09, 2026

That bottle looks amazing!
Being someone that is allergic to loads of wash powders and liquids, I was wary of trying Tallow and Ash but I love it. The smells are amazing you did reed defuser in some of the scents so I could smell it throughout the house everyday.

Liah Ali March 09, 2026

I would like to select the woman behind tallow and ash, a few years ago my hands were reacting to everything i washed my clothes in. The pics i have are heartbreaking, not being able to have the simplist thing like hold my baby and wash my hair own hair and body, my dignity went out the window, but i tried tallow and ash and was able to not only wash my clothes in something i wouldnt react against but i smelt great again, so not only do i love your products i love u guys, you dont realise how much you have helped me along my journey. So thankyou to the woman at tallow and ash xxx

Alisha March 09, 2026

Becky March 09, 2026

I would love to be able to have the chance to nominate my mam. My absolute world, my best friend. The strongest woman I know being through so much in her life from a very young age. Always gives everyone she crosses paths with the world, does so much for charity’s and most of all always caring, loving, guiding, and in the toughest of times being the absolute worlds best mam to my siblings and i. unfortunately in the last few years she has been diagnosed with a very rare form of Parkinson’s and now wheelchair bound after being so independent and doing everything for everyone it’s absolutely heartbreaking to see 💔 she still puts on the bravest of faces in the most difficult situation. If I was lucky enough to win I would love to be able to give this beautiful gift to her and make her feel special because she deserves the world and more! Thank you so much tallow & ash you guys are incredible, I appreciate the chance and wishing everyone lots of luck. ♥️ x

Margaret Hume March 08, 2026

Celebrating my friend Helen, who loved me during the most difficult time in my life when I was at my lowest ebb and terrified, saw me at my worst when I had nothing left to give, no pretension, no ego, saw into my soul and still she wrapped her arms around me and held me up.

Tracy Mackellar March 08, 2026

🎉🎈🥳 I will be celebrating my amazing mum tomorrow! My mum is my absolute hero 🦸‍♀️ and inspiration. Sadly she fell and broke her neck just over two years ago and subsequently ended up paralysed below the waist. Despite this, she has never let this beat her and continues to battle on to be as independent as possible!💪🩷

Josy March 08, 2026

l’d love to celebrate my mum. She has been incredibly strong while caring for my seriously ill dad, and we’ve been through a very difficult time as a family the past few years. She shows so much love, patience, positivity and strength every single day, even when things are exhausting and scary and even though she is not in the best place herself health-wise (just recently broke her dominant arm on top of all, oh no… 🙈). Even in the hardest moments she keeps going and supports everyone around her.
She truly deserves something that reminds her she’s so appreciated and not alone. 💛

Susan Gibbons March 08, 2026

I Have too many great woman in my life to pick one … many many of them serve the public, look after their family

My mother in law because she’s been a great support and friend when I’ve needed it.

Rachael March 08, 2026

My Mum, because she is AMAZING!!! 😻😻😻

Kay March 08, 2026

I celebrate my sister Jayne as a top mum this Mother’s Day, she’s always working hard and does everything for the kids along with other family/friends kids. Juggling home and work. Also when needed does my jobs, she now does my ironing and has commented on how nice my bedding smells, I now want to get my sister to use this product, I love the product and highly recommend it to all my friends and family. Can’t wait to try some new ones that I haven’t used.

Timothy Smith March 08, 2026

My Mum is the most important woman in my life as over the years she’s given up so much for the family including her health. She can’t do the washing herself anymore but I get her T+A so she can enjoy all the different scents.

BTW this bottle and design (just without the IWD wording would be perfect for an Empty borrle to sell to us for all the one off or reissues of scents that come in refill packs). It’s perfectly on brand.

ALISON.LAWLEY March 08, 2026

A treat for me, cos Mothers Day is hard, still. And a treat for Cherie cos she is finding herself after 30 years of a bad relationship. We both love your products too, obviously

Darren March 08, 2026

My friend Vickie is a wonderful mother. How she manages to juggle her job and looking after her kids I’ll never know. After school clubs, swimming lessons, dance classes, she gets them all in. I know that she’s not alone in doing this but she’s the woman I see doing it.

Anja March 08, 2026

Celebrating my mother, because she is so strong and had to handle a lot of loss in the last years.
She also did the care work at home 🫶🏼
But tbh I have a lot of very powerful women around me: strong, feminist women 💪🏼

Marisa Lo March 08, 2026

I especially celebrate my best friend Sophie this year. Her loving gentleness has softened me when we met 16 years ago and really helped me embrace the empathetic and femine side of being a lady, strengthening my more logical and task driven nature. We nearly lost her last week to a traumatic accident, and it would really mean a lot to her that other ladies in the world are caring for her and rooting for her healing journey to shine brighter than she already was shining before ✨️

maddie March 08, 2026

I would loooove to win this for my mum! She’s recently moved into her new house and the sun shining through the window is making her so excited for spring! And having this smell running through the house is just what she needs😍

Excellent product worth every penny for me.

She travels about 100 miles to help me with my fiancée who suffers from a rare brain condition & she never complains no matter how exhausted she gets. This international women’s day I would like to celebrate her and all women who struggle daily and still dust themselves off and get on with it 💞 here’s to women everywhere! X

Nora March 08, 2026

I would like to celebrate myself. I was able to get out of toxic and abvsive environments, which also makes me not have as many other incredible women in my surroundings to dedicate this to. I wish everyone a happy woman’s day and hope you can all celebrate yourself and other women! Good luck 🫶🍀

Michaela Ward March 08, 2026

I would like to nominate my sister Veronika who’s been my rock this year. x

Maureen Smith March 08, 2026

I’d like to nominate my sister Kathy Read for International Women’s Day. Kathy has advanced Parkinson’s which affects her physical wellbeing, but no matter what, she will not give in. She is a driving force behind her local Parkinson’s group and is always organising events and fundraisers to keep the group going. She always puts others before herself, and she deserves to be pampered and spoilt. She is an inspiration to us all with her grit and determination.

Sami Austin March 08, 2026

I’d love to celebrate myself this International Women’s Day. Since 2021 I’ve been on a journey with breast cancer while raising my two young children. It’s been the hardest chapter of my life, but also one that showed me strength I didn’t know I had.

Now in 2026, after major surgery, this is the first year I am cancer-free and have been told there is no risk of it returning. I’m incredibly proud of how far I’ve come and grateful to still be here for my children.

This year I’m celebrating resilience, survival, and every woman who keeps going even when life is unimaginably hard.

Ekaterina Kalvacheva March 08, 2026

My best friend, she’s had the year from hell after leaving her abusive ex but she’s slowly making her house her home after kicking him out. Zoe Stewart March 08, 2026

I’d give it to my Mum! She’s not yet got to try any of the T&A line and she hears me raving about it enough! She’s recently been made redundant and is feeling it, I’ve been doing lots of things with her round the house to help give it a spring clean.. This would put the spring clean into her laundry and cheer her up 💜

Happy International Women’s Day! 💖

I would like to thank all the women around the world who came before me for fighting for our rights, this has allowed me access to education and a life in which I can make my own unburdened choices. There are no words that could do justice to how thankful I am and my only hope is that one day, every woman is able to feel this way. I will continue to do my bit to champion and support women in any and all ways I can.

In my own life, I would like to thank my mum, a nurse of over 50 years, who shown me how to be strong but kind and ever supportive. You are one in a million mum and I love you very much ❤️.

She inspires me more than she’ll ever know. Love you always Mum — Julie deserves to be celebrated today and every day. 💜

My friend Paulina. She grew up with an alcoholic father who made her life a hell on earth. Yet she found the strength to help me when I reached my rock bottom as an alcoholic. Thanks to her I’m now sober for nearly 5 years. It is beyond my comprehension how my behaviour didn’t cause her to abandon me or didn’t bring painful memories. I will be forever grateful and such care and selfishness cannot go unnoticed.

Mel K March 08, 2026

My mom: she spent 35 years being a housewife and raising 4 children pretty much alone. So for IWD this year I celebrate you my beautiful girl, thankyou for being you & for teaching us all whats important… im blessed to call you mine with love, courage, kindness & understanding. You are a true inspiration ❤

Evie March 07, 2026

The woman in my life I am celebrating is my mum, she got me through all my surgery’s when I was a child and supported me through them all.

Liz King March 07, 2026

The female in my life is my dog Bramble. I volunteer for a dog charity by fostering and I picked up this very very poorly girl in July. She had been involved in a road traffic accident and abandoned. She had broken ribs and broken bones in her neck. She then worn on to get an abscess from a wound in her chest. After many sleepless nights (and cleaning her bedding with T&A) she pulled through and we adopted her. I still love to wash her coats, bedding and towels in your gorgeous scents 💜

Simone Anderson March 07, 2026

Me and my mum her having arthritis and still being the best most amazing mum ever she’s been through so much she deserves soo much

Annette Griffiths March 07, 2026

My mum, she experienced WWII a bit too close for comfort as a young child, was forced to leave the home she loved, was a refugee in Denmark for a couple of years together with my grandma. Then believing her dad was still alive they moved to the GDR and received the bad news grandpa was no more. Stayed in the GDR for a few years until they could escape through a ruse and join my great grandma in Berlin. She loved living in Berlin. She found my dad (that’s a story I am not sure about and I never asked) but I know they wrote each other letters.
My Swiss dad swept her off her feet and she joined him in Switzerland. She learnt Swiss German so quickly I really can’t remember her ever speaking in German to me unless she read a book to me.
They got married and a year later I arrived. And almost 60 years later I was diagnosed with autism and ADHD and whenever I speak to her and we talk about my sensory issues she says that’s how she feels. And tells me about things that bother her.
I keep thinking this autistic ADHDer has seen the absolute the worst in humanity, was forced to leave everything behind, was nearly blown out of the water, had to deal with hatred and yet her joy for life at the age of 86 is just amazing and heart warming.
I love her so much!

Lisa Proud March 07, 2026

I celebrate my daughter. She is brave and courageous and has dealt with a hidden illness all her life. She shows me what strength is and always does it with a smile xx

Ebonnie Marie March 07, 2026

1. International woman’s Day
2. It is my birthday

I would love love to win this on my birthday ♡

Shelle March 07, 2026

My mom is an inspiration & I’m so grateful for her. I’ve always been surrounded by strong women – grandmothers, aunts, cousins – and I’m better for their support. I hope I can do the same for my daughter and nieces.

Delia Stetco March 07, 2026

My mother 💗
No words needed to explain everything she has ever done to help us and bring good things in the world.

Aimée March 07, 2026

My wonderful mum & sister 🥹💕🫶🏻

Tracey Laidler March 07, 2026

My fabulous sister. We’ve just lost our Mum and she has been so supportive and I hope I have been the same to her. Life is so tough but she helps me with everything.

Helen March 07, 2026

My functional medicine practitioner works tirelessly with passion and commitment, not just with clients but across health networks (this weekend she did a presentation at a breast cancer charity function) and in her free time to raise awareness of what it’s possible to achieve outside of established healthcare frameworks – her insight into genetics and nutrition is incredible to the point where, in all sincerity, I reckon she probably saved my life.

Simon Ohiggins March 07, 2026

My amazing most wonderful best friend Francesca. I honestly cannot even in words sum up how beautiful and selfless of a human being she is. She has been trying to conceive for years and each time its ended in sadness and not the outcome she wished for, she’s saved, worked multiple jobs to fund IVF treatment to create the family she always dreamed of, sadly this to wasn’t to be. I remember her words to me when she had a very good amount to begin the process and she said she chooses life and love and threw every penny into her dream of being a mother. However day after day she gives, cares, helps others with words and her time to ensure other people keep smiling. Her light is so generous, daily she sends me affirmations and beautiful messages all looking through a lens of hope and true kindness. I’m honoured to have this woman as a best friend. She truly does deserve an acknowledgement. Love you hun always xxx

Helen Gibson March 07, 2026

I would love to celebrate my sister Liz. She’s my absolute rock and is having such a horrible time health wise right now. Since October she’s picking infections one after the other and still continues to help all the family. I just want her to slow down and take time for herself and get well. She always takes me here, there and everywhere to hospital appointments as I can’t drive right now. I just want her to know how much I love and appreciate her. Fingers crossed. ♥️

Cerys Courtney-jones March 07, 2026

Celebrating International Women’s Day with some of the most important women in my life — my mum, my sisters, and my nan.
They mean more to me than words can describe. My mum does so much for me that most people could never imagine. Even during the toughest times, she has always been my number one supporter and has stood by me throughout my whole career and everything I’ve done.
My sisters are incredible, and my nan — even though she’s not well — has always been there through everything.
I’m so grateful for them all and I can’t wait to celebrate International Women’s Day together. ❤️

Amanda Lyles March 07, 2026

I would like to put forward a person I have never met, but she helped my daughter on Thursday evening. My daughter’s phone was snatched from her by 2 men outside Balham train station. She saw that my daughter was in distress and she went up to her. My daughter had no money to get home, as her cards were on her phone and she gave her £10 so that she could get home. I have her phone number, so if I do win, I can get details from her. It is so nice to know that there are so many good people in this world, but such a shame that that some people just spoil it for everyone else. Thank you to that lovely lady.

Ella Santon March 07, 2026

My amazing sister Jasmine deserves the world. She was by my side when our grandma passed away hasn’t left since. I became pregnant not long after my grandma passed away and she was there whenever I needed her, my scans, hospital appointments, organising my nursery and when my little girl arrived, she had been the most amazing auntie I could have ever asked for! I am so proud of her and she does get the credit she deserves! She is not just a sister or an auntie, she is my best friend 💜💜

Angela Douglas-Moore March 07, 2026

The most amazing women in my life is my daughter, she and I have been through so much, in the last 10 years and she has been my saviour, my rock and I hope I have been hers too.
She gas the kindest heart and so much love and empathy.
I dont know what I would have done without her .

Claire Douch March 07, 2026

My 19 Yr old daughter who is my inspiration and keeps me going when life is tough. When she was 12 she stopped her 22 Yr old sister from ending her life twice. When she was 14 she was very ill and diagnosed with crohns disease. This lead to lots of hospital stays and time off school. School then wouldn’t let her go to her prom because of attendance.
Her dream was to make it into musical theatre but shes not got enough energy to undertake full tine training. Instead she works part time while performing with an am dram group. She doesn’t give up, she keeps going and recently jumped out of plane raising money for crohns and colitis. Shes fighter and im so so proud.

Ann Longley March 07, 2026

The most amazing woman in my life is my beautiful daughter. I have been disabled since an operation went wrong in 2007. Since then, even though she works full time as the manager of an opticians , she has been my main carer since then. She does all the shopping, cleaning, washing, cooking and, helps her brother, who is also disabled.
She absolutely loves when life gives you lemons, and it’s by far her favourite scent.
I’m so proud of her, and would love it if she was picked for this, and I know that’s the one she’d choose. She’s amazing 😍😍

Jennie March 07, 2026

I will be celebrating my mum who has for me been very special. That we’re not close or the same in personality doesn’t matter, I think the bond that anyone had to their mother cannot be described adequately in words, it’s always there, always with you, and my experience is exactly like that; irreplaceable and forever special 💓

Sarah March 07, 2026

It’s no coincidence that international women’s day and Mother’s Day are so close together. My inspirational woman is my mother, the woman who held it together even when she was suffering to ensure her daughters felt supported. I love you forever mum

Dominika Bolon March 07, 2026

I would love to celebrate my closest friend Chelsea- she has been there for me since day 1. She recently purchased her first home with her hubby & is in the middle of becoming a chartered accountant. I am so proud of her for being so resilient ❤️

Lucinda Walton March 07, 2026

My two daughters both inspire me, so I couldn’t possibly choose just one!
Holly and Zoe are both amazing women, they both use Tallow and Ash

Miriam Cullen March 07, 2026

I celebrate my incredible, beloved granny Anna. Even thought she is not with us now she lives within me and my beautiful children.
The strongest woman I have ever met. She was denied to attend law school even with amazing marks due to her father being prisoned for his political stance against the local government at the time. And she as a ‘traitors daughter’ was not allowed further education. She told me stories how she had to work in a factory that she hated. Every morning she would travel to her work in tram she would see this beautiful city council building and kept telling herself she will work there one day. So after 4 children she decided to do night school after work. She did end up being a big boss in housing section sitting in that beautiful city council building.
She was the most extraordinary person and boosted me through my own journey when I moved to UK, build my life here and especially doing my degree and chartered accountancy education while raising my two babies.
Miriam x

Margaret Ann Blair March 07, 2026

The woman I would like to comment on is my sister. She is my absolute best friend in the world, inspires me to be a better person every day and has been there for me through the worst times and the best times. I love her more than she’ll ever know. She is the kindest person I know and I’m thankful for her every day ❤️

Kimberley Mortimer March 07, 2026

My mum. She is 89 and still working full time, helping her community. She has been awarded an MBE for her services to charity and was the youngest ever female Justice of the Peace when she was appointed to the bench in 1972.

She was also the first ever female to hold the honorary post of Chair of Denbighshire County. I’m immensely proud to call her my mum and if I turn out to be just half the woman she has, I’ll be proud.

She has come so far from her childhood roots in inner city Leeds, leaving school with no qualifications and unbeknown at the time, Dyslexia. She has achieved so much and is a much respected pillar of our community. What a wonderful woman ♀️💜

Cindy March 07, 2026

I nominate all 3 of my daughters for becoming strong and beautiful, brave women who made me better by being their mom!

Karen Davis March 07, 2026

My niece, she lost her mum (my sister) to breast cancer when she was 15.
She had a lovely little boy with someone who did not love her or appreciate her. So she raised him all by herself, he has autism and other complex needs.
She got married to a wonderful man and has had 2 more children and is also step mum to 2 older children whom she also takes care of on a regular basis (the eldest also has autism).
I introduced her to T+A last year via referral and she loves you! She is super mum and she deserves it!

Younger than me but she’s been my friend, my rock, is much wiser than I am.
I’m grateful every day for being there for me.

Mandy Hall March 07, 2026

I would love to nominate my daughter, she looked after me while I was having my chemotherapy treatment. We lost my dad during lockdown to a sudden heart attack outside of our home, which was very traumatic. She has been my rock and even through all of that managed to get a first class honours in her bachelors degree. I’m extremely proud of her xx

Luci Woodward March 07, 2026

Julie Goodswen March 07, 2026

I’d love to nominate Claire at work. She is mum to all the youngsters in the team. She looks out for them, gives them the best advice she can to help them grow into rounded and caring individuals. She picks them up when they are down. Dusts them off and makes them smile again. She does all this without any expectations.
She has nothing herself as a single mum, but would give anyone anything she has. She is smart, compassionate, caring and an all round good person who is a pleasure to know and be around.
I’d love for her to be recognised for the amazing person she truly is and to thank her for just being her. Please thank her from us all. Xxx

I nominate me .my son won’t remember to send me anything and my mum and husband are no longer with us so I have to celebrate being an amazing woman myself x

Christy Paddock March 07, 2026

Definitely celebrating my own mom, who raised the three of us kids essentially by herself. My father was an American football coach during our childhood (and beyond), which meant he wasn’t home a lot, so she handled EVERYTHING related to us, the house, finances, the business side of my father’s football summer camps, handling moving us and the house when my dad changed jobs, helping me through an eating disorder in my early teens, moving us in and out of college….the list could go on and on. She is amazing, as all moms are!! 💜

Belinda March 07, 2026

I’d love to nominate my wonderful friend Fatima for this prize. She is one of the kindest, most elegant and thoughtful people I know — the sort of person who quietly takes care of everyone around her without ever expecting anything in return.

Right now she’s abroad caring for her very ill mother, which has been incredibly hard, but she is handling it with such strength and grace.

Fatima and I are both passionate lovers of beautiful scents, and perfume is something we often chat about together — the memories they hold, the joy they bring, and how a fragrance can lift your whole day. Winning this would be such a perfect and uplifting surprise for her during a difficult time. She truly deserves a moment of happiness.

Steph March 07, 2026

My bestie, Leanne.
She’s there no matter what – the good, the bad, the Inbetweens; she’s a champion, a shoulder, my soul sister.
She loves my kids like they’re her own, and treats them like family.
She’s working her butt off to prove herself in the insurance world and getting new qualifications to go with it – all whilst being the best dog mum and teen boy mum she can be.
And she helps fuel my/our unhealthy boy aquarium and cowboy book addiction 🤭❤️🤣🥰

MRS MICHELLE HARDWICK March 07, 2026

I celebrate my daughter. Despite some trauma she is the strongest, most beautiful woman I have the privilege of knowing. She’s raised a further beautiful human, my 20 year old granddaughter. I am super proud to have them in my life 😍

Klaudija March 07, 2026

My mum – the woman who has supported me through everything. She deserves to be celebrated today and every day. 💐

Melanie Cohen March 07, 2026

To one of my best friends Karin Reiter…she helped me and my family towards healthy eating habits. I miss her, especially now as she and her beautiful family are trying to survive a war.

Rachel Steemson March 07, 2026

I love the artistry onvthese bottles they are works of art. Although I would like to win these I am already a winner as when I do the laundry I open up a bottle and inhale a beautiful fragrence.

Cerys March 07, 2026

My mum, it’s the 10 year anniversary of loosing her. And she’s been my strength and drive to be the better version of myself. The person I still admire and look back to parenting as I navigate being a stepmom role. My forever star helping me navigate all the things a woman needs to for the future ❤️

Alisha March 07, 2026

My mum deserves to be celebrated this IWD. She has single handledly raised me and my 3 siblings, after a very traumatic childhood. She makes sure she does everything she can for me and my little siblings. She also lost her mum a few years ago, that’s when she started volunteering at our local community centre. She helps homeless and locals and feeds them. She works with many charities and food banks and is much loved by our community. She truly is selfless, she never does much for herself, only others. I want her to feel appreciated

Michaela Jeyes March 07, 2026

My best friend, she’s currently in the thick of new born baby life :) x

Melane Heaton March 07, 2026

My daughter she makes my day always. Shes so kind and caring and always put other before herself.

Jane Oakley March 07, 2026

My wonderful friend Carmel who I’ve known for 40 years – she was an inspiring nursing colleague and always supported me and my practice, ran several teams, raised 2 children, kept her family , studied and still had time for kind words. She went to parliament to speak about care for the elderly. During Covid we both had nursing challenges. I think she deserves a prize and what better than tallow and ash that smells wonderful, is gentle but thorough- just like her.

Barry Hancock March 07, 2026

My best friend Nadia is the kind of woman who somehow manages to be hilarious, stunning, compassionate, and an absolute powerhouse all at the same time. She’s the most hardworking person I know and pours her whole heart into creating the best life possible for her wonderful daughter, Evangeline — who is growing up with the most incredible role model. Nadia is the sort of friend who will make you laugh until you cry, hype you up when you need it most, and somehow still remember to message you back between doing a million things at once. She’s genuinely inspirational… and also personally responsible for dragging me out of the dull, grey world of basic supermarket laundry detergent and introducing me to the joy that is Tallow & Ash. Honestly, my clothes (and my life) have never smelled better. Happy International Women’s Day to the woman who proves you really can do it all — and make it look effortless while you’re at it. 💛

Karen Sephton March 07, 2026

I’ll celebrate my mom, who I lost 15 years ago, she taught me the true meaning of grace & strength through adversity, & what it was to make a house into a beautiful home.

Lauren Alderson March 07, 2026

My mum, she’s my best friend. She’s had a tough life but still pushes through every single day. She is always there for me whenever I need her! I’d be lost without her ❤️

Bobby March 07, 2026

I am not a lady, however, I order on behalf of my other half as she is in love with them. I have literally every scent to cover the family and my 4 kids love the smell!!! Especially pistachio and summer fruits! Will never use any other washing products other than Tallow & Ash! She believes I have an obsession ❤️

Julie Brough March 07, 2026

I have some really lovely female friends who have shown me what it’s like to be supportive and cared for. I’m happy that they are all in my life, and they make me want to be a better woman and friend, and they show me how to do this by the love and support that they give me.

Genevieve Bond March 07, 2026

Let’s celebrate all the wonderful ladies who make family life go smoother, who juggle families, work and being amazing people too. My special award for International Womans day would be my wonderful, talented daughter Rebecca. Tallow and Ash are fantastic and we both enjoy using your brilliant products

Emma March 07, 2026

My mum is amazing and she has never failed me , she is such a generous , loving and caring lady and she is an amazing role mum and nanna .

Rachel Heard March 07, 2026

Please can I nominate our granddaughter? She would dearly love to subscribe to T&A yet she can’t quite find the resources at the moment. She has just moved house and this would be just the tonic she needs .. she works her socks off for her family and also as a full time Ambulance Dispatcher . She is incredible and I’m so very proud of her❤️❤️❤️ Here is hoping 🙏

Karen Dineen March 07, 2026

My daughter gave up her life at 17 to care for her dad (we’re not together, but stayed friends) He went blind through diabetes. She took him to all his appointments, eyes, diabetes and dialysis, three times a week. Then he had a kidney transplant. She was working part time and doing a degree at uni.
I am so proud of how she has coped. Now her dad is living in a care home, as he has dementia.
My daughter loves Tallow and Ash and would be chuffed to win a set!
Happy International Women’s Day ladies!

Nancy March 07, 2026

For this women’s day I would like to celebrate my mum. She is a survivor and an extremely kind woman. I am not going to list all the things she has gone through in her life, but I will say that nevertheless she never gave up. She is the person I hope to be everyday and the person you hope to meet in your future. Thank you mummy!

Claire Neale March 07, 2026

I’d love to nominate 2 women who are absolute stars. Firstly my daughter in law who has so bravely battled with breast cancer this year whilst raising 2 beautiful daughters, secondly my co-worker Julie who brings a ray of sunshine every day to work despite losing her mum to dementia while looking after her dad, husband and is still standing strong 💪
Ladies, you rock!! 🤘

Laura Martha March 07, 2026

I lost my mum and grandma within a very short period of time (both mothers in my life), they shaped me today. So, today my cousins and friends are my amazing women in my life. I’ve learnt as I get older, everyone has a battle, an obstacle, and it’s how they’ve all kept on going that’s inspirational.

Tracy K March 07, 2026

My daughter. Her smile gave me the strength to leave a DV situation from her father. She deserves the world.
Proud of the young woman I’m raising!

Teresa Bunning March 07, 2026

I’d like to nominate my daughter Amber as it’s her 21st birthday on the 9th March and she’s at Uni in Lincoln and has got all her housemates using Tallow and Ash products to do their laundry xx

Jade Tamburrini March 07, 2026

I’ve loved reading all the beautiful comments celebrating the women in people’s lives. There are some incredible stories here. But this International Women’s Day I’m actually going to celebrate myself.

After IVF, complications, sepsis, a very premature baby, and then being made redundant, the last few years have tested me in ways I never expected. But through it all I’ve kept going, celebrated my little baby every day, and recently taken the leap to start my own business.

Sometimes the woman we need to celebrate most is ourselves. Every woman here has her own strength, her own story, and her own quiet superpower. 🤍

Jade Tamburrini March 07, 2026

I how this doesn’t come across selfish after reading all the comments cause so many amazing people. But actually I’d like to celebrate myself! After going through ivf, complications , sepsis, a very premature baby and then being made redundant I’ve just started my new business, celebrate my babe each day and have done my absolute best. Us women/ girls all have our own super powers and every single comment deserves the credit and gratitude.

Cindy Lydall March 07, 2026

I’d like to celebrate my daughter in law Charlotte. Her strength has seen her through losing her husband, my son, to cancer when she had a baby and a toddler. They are a testament to her parenting skills. Holding down a full time job as a paediatric nurse specialist and training for her second ultra marathon, I don’t know how she does it. Inspirational. She deserves so much more

Amy LT March 07, 2026

My best friend. In the last year she had been diagnosed with MS and ADHD. This is on top of studying for a degree and being a mum to two teenage boys and one very grown up 6 year old. She always shows up, she is always present, she is an absolute warrior and the BEST role model for her children 💪💪💪

Eve Frazer March 07, 2026

Nominating for my Mama
We lost our Dad late last year (her husband of 50+ years) & it poleaxed her.
Straight Dad dying she went through a neck operation to keep her out of a wheelchair which has been a huge recovery whilst grieving.
Her world has changed beyond recognition but she has me & my sister who catch her every time.
She is the funniest, kindest woman on the planet & she would love a bottle of little miracle because she is one to us. Thank you for considering us T&A & happy IWD to you & the T&A crew xxxx

Karen Johnston March 07, 2026

I will share this day with my daughter and her 2 children who are both under 2.
And she is rocking being a single mummy on her own now.
She has been through a difficult time recently, but is coming out the other side stronger than ever.
She is my inspiration and i am so very proud of her.
She is a huge fan of Tallow and Ash products, especially your sprays to match the shampoo and conditioner . I would love for her to be able to win something, and just brighten her day. 😘😘❤️❤️

Lorna Kelly March 07, 2026

After surviving a suicide attempt due to pyshocsis! I have supported myself since, learning to walk again.. I am nearly off my walking stick! Yaaaay!
Having nice smelling clothes is just wonderful to me, it’s a simple thing that boosts my mood..
🤍

Kira March 07, 2026

I’d nominate my mum cos she’s absolutely the best and she deserves the most on international women’s day AND every other day ❤️💪🏼

Karen Hollis March 07, 2026

My youngest sister is the strongest person I know. She suffered losing her husband when her children were 11 and 6. She worked hard to give them a good life and taught them to have good manners and respect for others. Then the youngest of her children was killed age 17.. how she coped with this I will never know. Then three years ago she was diagnosed with with Lung cancer, had an op and is now hopefully in remission. Her life has always been hard but she doesn’t see it that way and is one of the most caring people I know, nothing is ever too much trouble if someone needs help.

Gabriella Swinyard March 07, 2026

This feels like a slightly odd way to mark International Women’s Day.
Celebrating women with a special edition bottle of laundry detergent feels a bit like reinforcing the very stereotypes the day is meant to challenge.
Because nothing says empowering women quite like reminding us about the washing.
“Happy International Women’s Day – now get the washing done!”

Suzanne Welsh March 07, 2026

I’d love to celebrate my best friend this International Women’s Day. 💜

We’ve been best friends since school. She went off to university while I went straight into work, but no matter where life took us we always stayed close. We even did the thing everyone says not to do when you’re young — we moved in together! And honestly, it just proved how strong our friendship really is.

She empowers me every single day. We talk and text constantly, always supporting each other through life’s ups and downs. Now I’ve even moved next door, so we get to have our little morning ritual — a cup of tea, a chat, and a biscuit together.

She’s the kind of friend everyone hopes to have in their life, and I’m so lucky to call her mine. 💕

Without a shadow of a doubt, my mom and my grandmother. Both have played a part in my life and made who I am today. Resilient and badass.

Samantha March 07, 2026

I’m picking myself, for 2 reasons.
I kicked cancers butt (breast cancer) 5 years ago.
I also live with constant pain due to scoliosis. Diagnosed at age 11 & now mid 50’s. Life isn’t easy, but I’m still going, I’m unique, bent, but not broken.

Shiny March 07, 2026

I’d love to win these for my mum, the strongest woman I know. An unstoppable force.

Lyndsey Duckworth March 07, 2026

Jennifer Morrison March 07, 2026

My daughter Kerry. Starting her own bakery business and “icing on the cake” reminds me so much of the inches of icing sugar that hides my whole kitchen most days! So proud of her

Katie Watkins March 07, 2026

My daughter is one in a million. Not only did she lose her dad to cancer in 2024 but also supported me when I lost my new husband to cancer three weeks after we married in 2025 at the same time as managing a new premature baby! She pours all her love into the family to keep us all afloat. I’m the proudest mother there is ❤️

Kylie March 07, 2026

I’d love to win this for myself 😆 because I gave birth to my son on international women’s day last year & he celebrates his first birthday tomorrow! 🥹

Anca Popa March 07, 2026

My mum for always prioritising others and choosing hardship to give family a better future.

Kirsty March 07, 2026

There’s this incredible woman in my life since the day I set eyes on her she has been an inspiration, a shoulder to cry on , the strength when I havnt had any , guidance when I’ve been lost and a home even though I left it many years ago . She is my best friend, my caregiver , wisdom giver and I couldn’t imagine having a better woman to celebrate IWD than my incredible Mum .
AS a single mother she is now helping me face the same struggles as she went through ( I’m raising a boy in toddler era so pray for me/us ) ❤️‍🩹 she truly is my strength and would love this for her . Thankyou wendy ashwood for all that you are and all that you do 💞 love you to the moon , 🌙 passed the ✨ through the galaxies 🌌 and back again x

I’d nominate my 14 year old autistic daughter who finds school really stressful. Despite her struggles she tries her best in everything she does showing a huge amount of resilience and hard work.its not easy, there are often tears and overwhelm but she shows up day after day to an education system that often isn’t a great fit for SEN kids. I am amazingly proud of her, not just because of this but because she is one of the kindest people with the biggest heart that I have ever had the pleasure to meet. She makes me smile everyday! Her favourite scents are fresh pistachio and summer fling- very important for someone with sensory needs to have comfort, soothing scents and soft textures.

Rachel Gibson March 07, 2026

This is a huge shout out for my gorgeous Mum. We have lost our Dad this week who was her life long partner of 59 & 1/2 years married. During the hardest of weeks she has shown strength and resilient beyond compare. She so deserves a treat, loves washing and for being the best role model for life and beyond.

Caroline H March 07, 2026

I’d have to say the queen of my family: my grandma. She’s literally the strongest woman I know and the fact she’s in her 90’s and has seen 4 beautiful generations grow and even though I know she’s missing grandad she still puts all her love and time into us 💜 and if picked this will be her first T+A

Diane Courtnell March 07, 2026

This International Women’s Day I’m celebrating my daughter Jess — a kind, strong and beautiful woman who fills every room with warmth and light. If love and resilience had a scent, it would be hers. I’m endlessly proud of her and she deserves to be celebrated today and always. 💜

My twin sister. She is an amazing woman and after being told she was infertile and this causing her marriage to break down, she fell pregnant with her new partner who then left her when pregnant. She is doing the most fantastic job of being a single mum to my beautiful neice. She also introduced me to Tallow and Ash a few months ago!!

Gail Ash March 07, 2026

My mother. divorced in her 30s, then started her life again, studied and got a degree in performing arts, started a career as a folk singer, bought a house and brought up me and my brother all by herself as a single mum. So strong! Makes me proud to know there’s women like that in the world

Ana March 07, 2026

Women should be celebrated and respected always, but this day signifies that we are united and that we are equal, that we deserve to be seen and valued for our input in the society, be that at home, in the workplace or out in community. It is so empowering to see women achieve success and celebrate success of others! That is why when I see women owned businesses I am always inclined to support, as it starts a positive chain reaction and has a much wider impact down the line. Tallow & Ash is just one inspiring success story born out of passion and desire to do better and it is lovely to see.

Karen Stockdale March 07, 2026

My 81 year old Mam is the most amazing woman I’ve ever known. I’ve recently split up with my husband. Right from the start she has had me living with her showering me with love and support. She does all my washing, tidying and feeding me all without a moan. She never stops either, along with her 78 year old sister, she volunteers at the food bank, she’s heavily involved with her church and church friends, she cleans the church building after doing a girls club for 7- 13 year olds. After a recent diagnosis of osteoarthritis she has had to stop being a street Pastor, going out on a weekend to Newcastle from 10pm to 4am supporting revellers and the homeless. All with love and compassion, she would do anything for my brother, Sister and I, but even more for her grandson, 3 granddaughters and great Granddaughter. We love you so much Mam. You’re the most inspirational woman I know xx

Olivia March 07, 2026

I fight each and every day for her to build us a happy life and to one day have our own home! I never have a break nor do I complain and put everyone first before myself! So tomorrow I celebrate me!!!

Jessica Barlow March 07, 2026

I want to shout out and celebrate the 11 other women in the chat group I am a part of. We all came together through a selling and buying site over the past year and have formed a bond of friendship, chaos, support and everything in-between. We are all falling apart (these oldish bones) while holding each other together and getting us all through hard times and good, sadness, happiness, shortcomings, weddings, pregnancy, medical issues, new jobs and through it all so many laughs, tears and not one judgement.

Vikki Nixson March 07, 2026

To Gillian Garnsworthy, thank you for being the best mum and woman in my life. I wish I could tell you how amazing you are but words are not enough. Dealing with everything you deal with, all in your stride. I know I’m speaking on behalf of not just me, but dad, my brother and his family, your sister and her family and the boys for everything you do and take it on your shoulders and never even show that you have the world on your shoulders! We all love you and thank you for being you. The best mum, nurse to dad, grandmother and best friend. You are the best woman in my eyes!
