We need your help 👀

We need your help 👀

You asked… so we’re listening 👀💜

One of you recently messaged us with a really good idea.

Because our bottles are often stored side-on in cupboards, why not make the side look more like a book spine - with the fragrance name clearly visible, so you can easily grab the one you want?

We loved it. So much so that we’re actually looking at redesigning it 🤭

But we want you to help us choose. We’ve created a few different options - A, B, C… or keep it exactly as it is?

I think B is the best so you can see whats in the bottle SHAMPOO or CONDITIONER that would be great as the amount of times I puck the wrong one ip drives me crazy, I have to be honest the thing I dislike the most is the mess from the the spout when I fell the lid, I would much rather have a little pot you can keep th the cupboard and a normal screw top, I always get in a mess with the way its done now it really.puts me off using it just for that reason, I think you should still keep all the unfinished on the back of the container and just SHAMPOO and CONDITIONER down the side as no one really reads the other information.

Suzanne September 12, 2026

Definitely B but maybe put ‘Shampoo.’ and ‘Conditioner’ long ways on the spine. I store mine in a cupboard so a quick glance would help

Susan September 12, 2026

I would like to see clearer differentiation of the shampoo and conditioner bottles. I’ve suggested this to you before, as those of us who are in a hurry or who have poor sight can get the two confused and use the wrong product.

Lynn C September 12, 2026

I agree with others – leave as they are – we know what’s what by the colour. If they’re being kept in a cupboard are you really going to read the writing on the side anyway. If you have to change the side, just put the name of the shampoo/ conditioner

Chris September 12, 2026

C . Love to see the perfume notes clearly on the side ,with a large L for laundry and C for conditioner to differentiate, putting the wordy bits for the back of the bottle.
I agree with so many about the pouring spout ,the colour of the lids look fine .

Richard September 12, 2026

My two pennies worth – B would be my first choice

Lily September 12, 2026

Leave them as they are, LESS IS MORE!! Each fragrance has a different colour of bottle anyway so there is no need to make that side of the bottle wordy

Elaine Waggott September 12, 2026

Definitely B – I store mine side on in a bookshelf so love this idea !

Debbie Fireman September 12, 2026

I would choose B as when they are lined up in my cupboard it’s really handy to see which is conditioner and which is the washing liquid

Lynne O'Kane September 12, 2026

B- but I do agree with many others; less is more!
I have limited space to store mine & so only the sides show. To be honest, I can usually identify which one is which by the colour but the brand name & fragrance in large font would be great for me!!

Karen Childs September 12, 2026

Out of the 3 I would choose B,💜but I do think less is more 💜whether it’s shampoo or conditioner & mid, base & top notes💜still loving all the products 💜

H. September 12, 2026

B is clearer but they’re all too wordy. The biggest problem with these stupid bottles is the shape. They do not lend themselves well to getting remaining product out. It’s annoying.

Beth September 12, 2026

B, you can clearly see the shampoo or
Conditioner!!

Renata September 11, 2026

B please as it’s more clear!

Jill September 11, 2026

Just a classy eg Summer Fling Shampoo or conditioner, author Tallow and Ash, it doesnt need anything else. That could be anywhere else in the bottle! Simple just what’s in the bottle, we already have the understanding of what it is, the ingredients, the fragrance. Nobody reads that. We shop T&A because we love it, the fragrances and your ethics.

Catherine Parker September 11, 2026

Too much text, looks messy. Far better to show more of the colour and just have a large S or C on the side

Pauline Halstead September 11, 2026

B please.
If you are redesigning the bottle, please fix the pourer as I always spill the conditioner and waste 🙏🏻

Heidi Brown September 11, 2026

B. As others have said because the bottles are identical it’s not always obvious straight away which it is we are picking up. Personally changed the lid colour doesn’t bother me, but for those with vision impairments an easier way to differentiate between shampoo and conditioner would be good. Maybe a change of lid colouring or a nice big embossed S or C on the side.

Vic September 11, 2026

Option B
Fragrance is clear from the colour of the bottle; whether it’s shampoo/conditioner is not. Different bottle tops for shampoo & conditioner would help a quick grab and go. Transparent for shampoo & opaque for conditioner?

Georgia-Rae Taylor September 11, 2026

B! Love this idea. I currently write a S or C on the side in permanent marker- which looks awful!

Susan Middleton September 11, 2026
B its the easiest to read and clear to see
Syed A S Ahmad September 11, 2026

C
EVERY Bottle should show the notes on the spine, because that’s the easiest way to see it when it’s stored upright, I store my unopened bottles horizontally, and the mix I want to use vertically (santal with duvet days) but since I had a broken cap I stored It upright and was wondering where the notes where on some bottles :Thank you for the prompt replacement bottle

So please no need to change the bottle shape, it’s easy to store and hold for usage. But
Please put notes in the spine it’s a must especially when yiu gave a large collection

Christina Rose September 11, 2026

The nozzle on the bottle is not always in the same place and a lot of liquid is wasted as it is poured.

Hannah M September 11, 2026

I love this idea! Option B for me 100% xx

Sam September 11, 2026

B for me. Those of us who are getting older start to need glasses 🤣 so B would be easier to read 👍🏻

Michael Rowswell September 11, 2026

As the bottles are identical please can you somehow differentiate the contents..shampoo green top and conditioner, red…or something else.It helps one not to use the wrong bottle.
Product is awesome by the way…love it.

Gael Salzmann September 11, 2026

I like C….
But just name of product followed by shampoo or conditioner
But also if possible re design the pouring spout… the amount that gets dribbled down the sides, and also the spout itself “fixed” in a much better angle ✨🙏🏽🙏🏽

Yvonne Anderson September 11, 2026
Totally agree

MRS TONI BINGHAM September 11, 2026
Me too

Syed A S Ahmad September 11, 2026
Definitely, that’s right

Rae Taggart September 11, 2026

B as it’s clearer to see. I also wouldn’t bother about all the notes on the side. Books generally only have title and author so maybe just have scent and product

Claire Ross September 11, 2026

Definitely B as it’s clearer at a distance and I need that as I store it under my sink on the bottom shelf. The B makes it clear what it is, the colour tells me the fragrance already.

Johanna September 11, 2026

I would suggest a far simpler format with just the scent as the book title and product ie shampoo or conditioner as the author. You could put brand at the base like a publishing company.

Katherine September 11, 2026

Love the book spine idea! Agree with a lot of the comments. Need to have scent name and shampoo / conditioner in large and then perhaps the scent notes. The story (small text) which is still important could go on the opposite side or perhaps on the back.

Theresa September 11, 2026

Option B.
I wish you offered more refillable pouches. Also the fabric spray in a refillable pouch.

Claire September 11, 2026

B – the large bold font makes it super easy to see in your cupboard

Anna Sanders September 11, 2026

Agree with a lot of the comments, needs to be simplified – think old style book spine. Classic, elegant and simple x

Claire Richardson September 11, 2026

I think it needs to be something quite simple with just the scent name and whether it is a shampoo or conditioner but in a larger font. The rest of the text is very small amd would be very hard to read on the side of the bottle – much better to keep this on the back where it can be better spaced and easier to read.

John McFarlane September 11, 2026

You should redesign the bottle lid so the extra that’s left in the lid doesn’t pour down the sides if there is some left in the lid. Hope that makes sense :P

Ashley September 11, 2026

100% option B

Alison September 11, 2026

I would like it simple the name, the type ie shampoo/ conditioner and maybe the notes.

Ashtar Admassu September 11, 2026

B – easier to see

Liz P September 11, 2026

B please bob!
I hate getting them mixed up when it’s early in the morning and I’ve not had my first cuppa yet, but am putting the washing on whilst the kettle boils…

Megan September 11, 2026

B – easy and clear to read

Joanne September 11, 2026

Love the idea of it looking like a book spine (I actually keep all mine sideways on a shelf and refer to them as “the laundry library”) …but the options/example provided are way too messy – for me it would need to really read like a book spine …”Brand” and “Scent name” and then “Shampoo or Conditioner”.

Sarah Jane Little September 11, 2026

B
Easier to read.

Clare T September 11, 2026

Agree with lots of others, think they are overcomplicated. I would love simply the scent, and shampoo or conditioner on the side. Something a lot less fussy. No small text. Save that for the back or the other side.

Allegra September 11, 2026

I think simplicity is best here. The brand story is great, but when the bottles are lined up side by side, people are mainly looking for the scent and whether it’s shampoo or conditioner. I’d prioritise making those instantly clear and leave the brand story on the back.

I’d also love to see a more dyslexia-friendly approach to the typeface, casing and spacing. I personally struggled to read quite a lot of the text

Sonya Smith September 11, 2026

Nope. If you add anything just shampoo or conditioner. Can tell which it is by the colour but I wouldn’t buy a whole new set of bottles for this change.

Yvette Threlfall September 11, 2026

It’s different for everyone I suppose- i write a ‘C’ and and ‘W’ on the top of mine to differentiate between conditioner and wash. So for me something like that on the cap would be more useful.

Becca September 11, 2026

I think the ‘shampoo’ or ‘conditioner’ writing needs to be in larger text so at quick glance you have the right one. Luckily each scent has its own bottle colour it’s the shampoo or conditioner that needs to be the biggest writing.
But I agree with others – the scent and what it is
And maybe like the instructions – 1-2 caps etc per load, on the spine only.

IdontClaire September 11, 2026
I second this exactly

Jeanette September 11, 2026

B
People like myself whose eyesight is not good are able to see the larger description better.
I think that the display should just say Conditioner or Shampoo with the perfume name. It would be much easier to just grab and use.

Jules September 11, 2026

Love the idea of the description on the side as mine are stored side facing, but don’t need any of the blurb just simply need whether it’s the shampoo or the conditioner & continue with necessary details on the back.

Lynsey September 11, 2026

Too fussy. I thought the original post meant to show like a book title and author – reading sideways. I thought that was a good idea. Only need the scent and whether it’s shampoo or conditioner – all the rest of the info should be on the back. Want a clear unfussy design to make storage look neat.

Leighanne cameron September 11, 2026

I would pick B simply because the letters are bigger and much easier to read. Also would be nice to have the Top Mid & Base notes there to.

Kez September 11, 2026

Some of the colours against each other i really struggle to read. Mainly the summer fling and white . The scent boosters are just a guess job cause its beyond me. A bigger diffrence between the shampoo and conditioner bottle mainly as im getting my 12 year old son involved doing laundry and when im not next to him I still need to shout what to look out for and the place in the machine it goes

Hannah Louise Desjardins September 11, 2026

C – gives all the details

Wendy Beckett September 11, 2026

I don’t quite see the point of having anything other than maybe the name. Eg. Odyssey Laundry Shampoo. But the rest looks better on the reverse only. Out of these 3, I’d prob say B. But not a fan of it personally

Brenda September 11, 2026

I like b and c. B for the title and what it is, C for the top, mid and base notes, I can then match the fragrance to my mood.

Faye September 11, 2026

Please don’t change the spine, otherwise it won’t match my existing bottles on my shelf

Lauren September 11, 2026

Tbh, none of these look like a book spine 🤭 Do you really need all the paragraphs on the side? Why not the back?

Dionne September 11, 2026

I like C, i like how the scent tones are displayed.

Carol Burns September 11, 2026

I agree that it would be great if one spine could prominently show the fragrance and very little else. I store mine side on so it would be great to just see fragrance name and whether shampoo or conditioner

Sharon September 11, 2026

I agree that is too much information and print on the side you don’t need it … but having Shampoo/Conditioner is a great idea. I know the scent but I have to pick up and check what type this will definitely make things easier

Susan Richardson September 11, 2026

I think just the name and whether it just the shampoo or conditioner.
To be truly honest it is a good idea but I think it’s a cost to you and when it’s empty what are a lot of people going to do with the bottles?? Recycle them?! There’s no point in my eyes. I think most people aren’t going to keep them.
Yes the words ‘conditioner’and ‘shampoo’ on the front could be a bit bigger to see at a glance. Otherwise ud leave it how it is.

Sarah September 11, 2026

I love the idea of the bottles sitting on a shelf like those beautiful bound books. If the writing was simple (literally which scent it was along with ‘shampoo’ or ‘,conditioner’), elegant and ran along the ‘spine’ it would be gorgeous! The finer details could be on the back of the bottle as it is. ❤️

Lina September 11, 2026

C. I like seeing the scent notes on the side. It helps in deciding which booster to use

gemma melody September 11, 2026

For me I think the three designs are too cluttered with all that text. Keep it simple. Make it like an actual book with the name of the scent vertically down the side like a book title and keep the rest of the bottle as it is now.

Stella September 11, 2026

A combination of B and C. The “title” of B, but also including the notes in smaller letters, appearing like a quote/excerpt compared to the title. I agree with the comments saying that excluding the rest will make it look more like a book spine. Wouldn’t mind part of the story on the other side though, like a back cover.

Laura ❤️ September 11, 2026

B
I think this is a fab idea :) x

CeeCee September 11, 2026

Brilliant idea. I would prefer as little info as possible. Name and notes would be enough on the side.
All the other stuff can be on the back

Victoria September 11, 2026
I agree, I’d love minimalism on the “spine”, just the name (and perhaps notes) , this would look so cool ! <3

Sally September 11, 2026

I love the bottles but I do find it a struggle pouring either the conditioner or shampoo without spilling or it running down the bottle. Just saying …

Clare Bear September 11, 2026

Yes B please I store all mine like books All I need is scent and type (shampoo or conditioner) really B is the clearest

Gail prince September 11, 2026

Of the options B is easier to read but would be better as a book with the sent in bold text and shampoo and conditioner need to be easier to distinguish

Amelia Williams September 11, 2026

B for definite!

Claire September 11, 2026

I like the bottles as they are . You can tell which fragrances you have by the colour and the design is elegant , simple . With all the writing they become too busy and it would cost more but not make the product better.

Sharon Jones September 11, 2026

I like just the name and whether it’s shampoo or conditioner in bold letters and nothing else.

Kelli September 11, 2026
Fully agree. Name of scent and shampoo or conditioner is all I need. It should be simple to notice at a glance and know you have the right one

Nigel September 11, 2026

Definitely B, all the legal ingredients stuff can go on one of the larger sides. A quick glance is what we need on the narrower sides.

Julia Black September 11, 2026

I agree with Bethan.Just name and if its shampoo ir conditioner on the side is ample A great idea.
Maybe to look like a book spine it could say The Oud, Or The Odyssy etc.

Jacquie Dingle September 11, 2026

Definitely B, I’ve often thought it would be good to see whether it’s shampoo or conditioner before getting it off the shelf. B tells you clearly x

Jackie Unsworth September 11, 2026

I like B as I can read what it is without looking for my glasses

Tracey September 11, 2026

These are all far too busy, less is more. Noone needs to read a load of bumf, with a signature, they just want the name of the product, so:
TALLOW & ASH
OUD
LAUNDRY SHAMPOO
That’s it. All these are way too much and I really don’t like any of them.

Gill Begg September 11, 2026

I like it just as it is, in my opinion no need to change it as I can tell which fragrance it is by the colour of the bottle. I like the bottles to look plain when they’re stacked side by side

Sharon grosvenor September 11, 2026
I agree I know every fragrance just by the bottle colour. I really don’t think you need to complicate things. I just worry price would increase by change???

Tamsin Bailey Treleaven September 11, 2026

I prefer a plain side personally, I know what’s in the bottle- don’t need another label and it’s nice to just have the plain colour – looks more ’ peaceful ’ ( ie less busy) on the shelf.( mine are in a cupboard though as Idon’tlije clutter!)
But if you do go ahead and put info on the side then C I guess

Karen September 11, 2026

Definitely example B! Can clearly see it’s the Shampoo rather than Conditioner. Aesthetically very pleasing!

Emily September 11, 2026

Far too busy. I think that the name of the product and scent is enough but all the rest of it..nope.
To be honest, I don’t want your marketing information all over the bottle at all, let alone facing me on the shelf.

Rachel Boothby September 11, 2026

None of those, make it look like the spine of a book… Author and Name

Sharon Grosvenor September 11, 2026
Agree 👍

Elle September 11, 2026
This was my idea too! Messaged them on Instagram when Ciara first started it. Would like to see a shorter blurb and bigger writing but maybe large sideways like a book spine

Maru September 11, 2026

B is the closest one! But would love it if it looked more closely to a book spine!

“Title” (scent)
“Author” (tallow+ash)
(And then ONLY the lines the top notes, mid notes and base notes)

Otherwise the whole description looks too much and too tiny. That can just go on the back once you know what the scent is and roughly what the scent might be from the notes.

Penny September 11, 2026
Completely agree!

Victoria September 11, 2026

Definitely B – I already put a sticker on to help with this as I put conditioner in the washing tray one too many times! Just stuck one of the kids reward stars on the shampoo so I know where I am as even organising things into all shampoo together all conditioner together it didn’t work as my AuDHD won’t process all the system changes so now, unused is all separated into Shampoo and Conditioner but Shsmpoo with a sticker so I can just grab what I need when the ‘in-use’ basket needs a mix up!

Bethan Williams September 11, 2026

I agree with what others are saying and just the name of the scent and either shampoo or conditioner all in large nice print x

Heather Williams September 11, 2026

Definitely B for me much clearer when searching for either Shampoo or Conditioner but too much info on the spine maybe put that on the back

Grace Ambrose September 11, 2026

Love this idea! I think options B & C are nice, but I would replace the wording with the care instructions, as I think this would be more useful (keeping the scent notes as in option C).

Hannah September 11, 2026

Of these options, B is best. However I think it would look so much better if it was more like book ends!! So have Oddesey in big writing down the side and shampoo. Keep it simple and easy to read but also it would be so eye catching!
Even better if you wrote Vol 1 and Vol 2 on the bottom, 1 for the shampoo and 2 for conditioner 🥰

Jennifer September 11, 2026
This!

Also, I’d love drawer liners and scent packs for the wardrobe to match the laundry scents

Annette Walton September 11, 2026

None of them , might look nice as a book, however, they need to have slopping ‘shoulders’, so you can all the liquid of them. Sometimes, stopping the overthinking helps produce the simplest idea.

Emily September 11, 2026

B looks fab!

Louise Bensley September 11, 2026

B as it’s easier to read

Lucy Jerwood September 11, 2026

B definitely

Martin David Preyer September 11, 2026

C
I would find it even better if you go for evennmore blunt:
big size letters only „Odysee Shampoo“

Becky September 11, 2026

I like the concept but I think it needs to look like the spine of a book. You just need the title and the author as such. At the top Tallow Ash then in the middle what the scent is. Maybe at the bottom shampoo/ conditioner. That’s all the information you need.

Tracey September 11, 2026
I completely agree with you. All that writing is simply not needed. I would prefer they change the shape of the bottles myself as I hate the shape, square at the bottom, rounded shoulders at the top for me.

Sue Hughes September 11, 2026

Definitely B.

Sonya September 11, 2026

I’m loving the idea to display the product with side biding so you can easily read the name and the clean way it will display in your cabinet or laundry shelf however for me I’d prefer instead of all the ingredients relished I’d like the name and the scent for easy choosing based on what it is you’re actually washing in a particular load to include whether shampoo or conditioner. I would not be able to remember what it each color represents. Thanks for putting out the ask.

leisa September 11, 2026

I don’t really mind if it changes or not to be honest. I keep all mine in a little laundry basket so it wouldn’t make much difference to me.

Claire Revis September 11, 2026

I personally don’t think any. I think less would be more and it should just have just the name and shampoo or conditioner and leave the other text on the back of the bottle where it is now. Neither A B or C look anything like the spine of a book. It’s simply lots of text on a smaller surface xx

jesse malone September 11, 2026

I would say less is more.
I like the idea! Best in mind customers who wear glasses too! Some small print on medications and beauty products are ridiculously small!
Why not keep it simple with the name of the Shampoo & scent. Logo underneath or an
Alternative logo as constant rebranding that evolved with the times is great! I wouldn’t need to read much more than that really. Might be useful for teenagers trying out their first DIY laundry to print a 1.2.3 instruction but my feeling is keep it simple. Nice idea but please PLEASE can you bring back CELESTIAL!!!!!!

Kajal MAHATMA September 11, 2026

I think B stands out better for and would prefer that

Joanne Shaw September 11, 2026

I think B too. I can’t see if I don’t wear my glasses. So larger print on the side would be a good start. Shampoo and conditioner in even larger print an absolute win in my eyes 😁

Maureen Tugwell September 11, 2026

I prefer B as it would make it easier with storing the bottles side on

Mrs. C September 11, 2026

I think out of the options given B. However, I agree with Hope’s suggestion – make it more book like, less wordy.

Kristel Leech September 11, 2026

I think it’s a good idea. Two things I do find annoying…may not be relevant but as you’re asking for feedback…

1. The pour design can often leak/dribble when pouring from the lower part of the cap, I’ve had this on two different bottles now. Even with going careful it seems to dribble and leak despite even tightening it up/adjusting.

2. The spray nozzle on the laundry fragrance bottles, also comes loose and leaks in your hand while you’re spraying… again I’ve had this with more than one bottle/spray too.

Just something to consider rather than the aesthetics… sometimes functionality prevails in my opinion. That being said, I do like the suggested change but it’s not a big deal to me.

The above aforementioned on the other hand I find a real peeve

Diane September 11, 2026

B . Definitely as its bigger writing so easy to read.

Wendy September 11, 2026

I agree with a lot of the other comments my pet hate is not knowing if I’ve picked up the shampoo or conditioner especially when I’m not wearing my reading glasses and its a regular occurrence for me to start to pour the conditioner into the shampoo area in the washing machine drawer before I’ve realised. I think design B is best purely for the size of the font. But I think keep it simple use the back for all the smaller text and information us regulars already know why we bought it and can read it on the back of the bottle if we need reminding.I think it just needs the scent name and shampoo / conditioner on the side and if you want to prettify you could always add a small diagram of the flowers or other ingredients to make the design pop. If you are redesigning anyway I’d suggest making the shampoo and conditioner and fragrance name in a larger font on the front of the bottles as well.

Lesleyanne September 11, 2026

Definitely B for me, clearer to see product details without having to put my glasses on 😊

Jukie September 11, 2026

If it costs you money then please don’t do it.
The products are for laundry and stored (mainly) in cupboards.
Why not donate what this would cost to charity in the form of product, not money.

Julie September 11, 2026

Definitely B. It would be much easier to read.

Debbie Goodchild September 11, 2026

More obvious labelling of which is the washing liquid and which is the fabric conditioner definitely needs sorting. After that, the conditioner fragrances are far too weak! I run an Airbnb and was hoping for fragrances that lasted at least a few hours after washing. ☹️

Julia Brundish September 11, 2026

I like B because as others have said its easy to see if it’s shampoo or conditioner.

Hannah Harrison September 11, 2026

Absolutely LOVE the concept, really don’t love the execution though.. (Eek sorry!!) Wayyy too much info/text on these designs if the aim is ‘aesthetic’, the current front of the bottle looks way cleaner for display imo. These designs don’t look like book spines either.. A full series of books all lined up can look ace, so aesthetically pleasing, esp all different colours, so why not lean into that more? Plus if you nail the design, it will encourage people to buy into that and add more to their collection. Better yet, open it up as a competition, share a brief and let the creatives amongst your followers/customers submit designs, and the winning design could get a lifetime supply of Laundry shampoo & conditioner! ;)

Phyllis September 11, 2026

Out of the three my preference would be B but for me I’d like just the name of the product down the side and whether it is shampoo or conditioner all in large letters. I tend to go by the bottle colours. l also agree with what others have said about the pourers needing to be sorted out first as I hate losing even a drop off the precious liquid Would really like ALL the fragrances stronger as well 💋

Hope September 11, 2026

Like the idea as I love books ! But for me too much info that takes away from the colour and simplicity and not like a book really. To make it more like a book my suggestion would be to write as in a book spine – so fewer words (maybe just shampoo and/ or conditioner ), oriented at 90° to the shelf plane, running vertically along the book’s spine. Like a book title :)

Shelley Timms-Knowles September 11, 2026

B is the best please! We can tell the scent by the colour of the bottle but it’s really hard to depict which is shampoo or conditioner. I’ve just revamped my utility room around these bottles and this would be perfect. I also wonder if it would also be good to enlarge the shampoo/conditioner word on the front too for any bottles stored front facing. Maybe make it the same size as on the spine?

Andrea September 11, 2026

B would be my choice please as the cupboard I store them in is dark. Big lettering showing the difference between shampoo and conditioner would make life much easier !

Abbie September 11, 2026

I would say B I just love the idea.

Sarah Hall September 11, 2026

Definitely B, you can actually read what it is, don’t want to be grabbing conditioner when you wanted shampoo!

Neha Patel September 11, 2026

Definitely B, brilliant idea, I have quite a few and would make it so much easier with the name on the side. Love it

James September 11, 2026

B for sure. It makes sense to be able to read it easily. I really struggle and have to check multiple times to make sure I’m putting the right liquid in the right compartment

Carolyn Owens September 11, 2026

Only just discovered your products and am enjoying using them. I like the fact that the packaging is subtle and not garish. Any more writing or wording would detract from the stylish look I think so not selecting a,b or c.

Sam September 11, 2026

B as it is easier to see. But the idea of the scents shown on C would be good. So a mix of b and c. Also agree with comments on bottles dripping / spilling easily

Laura Drummond September 11, 2026

Definitely B as the scent and product is in the clearest font!

Nicki Hamilton September 11, 2026

I was really hoping you meant that you were going to redesign the pourer. I’m using pliers to separate the cap from the pourer on my current bottle: not the first bottle this has happened with.

Anna Maria Vesey September 11, 2026

I agree with another comment about leaning into the book spine aesthetic a little more and just have the scent as the title and shampoo or conditioner as the author.
I love the idea of this, and would vote for B out of the options that you’ve given. 😊

Jules September 11, 2026

B but in 500ml bottles as it’s very watery.

Karen Patel September 11, 2026

Super idea! I vote B clear lettering making it easier to put your hand straight to the right bottle.

Nicola Mewse September 11, 2026
Absolutely B so no specs needed!! 🤔😵‍💫😂

Chris September 11, 2026

B would be my preference – clear distinction of the bottles. Another option is to leave the small text on the back and use the whole of the narrow side (both sides) for SHAMPOO & CONDITIONER. A further thought maybe to use a different coloured top cap to differentiate between the two.

Nadia September 11, 2026
I would prefer B but to just say the name of the product/ shampoo or conditioner 😍I love how much you listen to your customers.

Miss Nichola J Ayres September 11, 2026

Before you do anything else I think you should look into the tops if the bottles not always being secured properly leaving the liquid to leak everywhere!
I’m taking a break from T&A, things just seem to have gone downhill in the last 12 months 😞

Heidi Wheeler-Rogers September 11, 2026

Must be B – need to see which is shampoo and which is conditioner easily!! 😁

Louise Mitchell September 11, 2026

As a regular user I never read the bumf on the bottles and I hate seing the qr code. Only thing that matters to me is the colours of the bottles and which is shampoo and which is conditioner. I have them on a shelf side on and would love them to look more stylish and simple. I love the book spine idea with the fragrance name and maybe the notes.

Susan Leonard September 11, 2026

B if you are changing it. Makes it easier to distinguish between Shampoo and Conditioner in the same scent. But I really think you have more important issues – see your Facebook fan’s page – lots of customer feedback about bottles leaking during transit, clothes getting stained, recent product delivery not smelling as strong as previously.

Donna Iliffe Pollard September 11, 2026

I LOVE your products, but I personally find the spine text way too busy. It’s got printing on the other sides anyway so it doesn’t need it. However, the honey and oud have just arrived and they’ve nothing printed on the spine which i felt then lacked something!. I think, just the name of the fragrance, in bold, just like a book title, would be perfect! :) x

Amanda September 11, 2026

OMG yes. In large lettering.

Francesca September 11, 2026

Hi. Yes I’ve been thinking that for a while, they need to be smart and aesthetically pleasing…simple and smart – not necessarily book binds. But I’d prefer the simple smart design in the spout side as that’s what I grab and sits outermost in my shelf. I’d also like to see shampoo or conditioner on the side, so I don’t have to put them in a special order. Have to say, I know others complain the smell isn’t powerful enough, but it takes time to get the old product smell out of your laundry and if you use the same sent for the same items, like bedding in Icing on the Cake, the smell intensifies and it’s amazing! Love all the products, won’t ever go back!

Rachel September 11, 2026

Deffo B so you know whether you’re grabbing the shampoo or conditioner 😊

Andrew September 11, 2026

B – keep it simple just to to see whether I’ve picked up shampoo or conditioner

Hannah September 11, 2026

Yes you should do a book design, it would look so good but the options you put up I wouldn’t say reflect that aesthetic. It’s too text heavy and busy. Maybe the name of the scent printed in large text down the ‘spine’ with the tallow and ash logo smaller at the bottom?
If that makes any sense 😆

Sam September 11, 2026
Agree with this!

Angela September 11, 2026

I think it’s a good idea however I think you need to go back to basics with the strong ess of the scents as even after adding more than you say I still can’t smell it on my washing even when line drying it….
Sometimes maybe concentrate on this rather than bringing out new scents or ideas or you will lose your customers…. Im already going to stop using the shampoo and conditioners

Nichola September 11, 2026
I totally agree with you, I’m fed up with paying premium price for a scented laundry duo only to have hard crispy dried towels and sheets come out of the dryer with no scent. The only time I benefit from a scent is when it’s blowing out of the tumble dryer into the garden. I guess it’s just following in the path of other successful brands that forget their roots and the customers that helped them achieve that success.

Andrea September 11, 2026
I know one’s sense of smell gets used to a scent after a while but even taking that into account I have to agree, sadly the scent on the towels is just not as strong as it used to be 😔

Chris naysmith September 11, 2026

I agree that B should be used if you decide to redesign the bottles in the near future.
Plus having shampoo and conditioner on the side is clearer to see and use

Nicola gower September 11, 2026

I just use the colours and I get both out at once so don’t need an s or a c. I like my packaging minimal not overly busy which for me this way too busy. Whereas at the moments I love the front and the back. To be honest I would rather the pourers were sorted out so that they didn’t dribble everywhere and that they faced the side to pour rather than random angles. I must waste so much product as a result

Anne September 11, 2026
Total agree I have my 2 bottles for laundry and 2 bottles (icing) for everything else. I love both scents but find myself using more conditioner in the hope that the fragrance will last longer. Spouts do need to be sorted

rachel September 11, 2026

Definitely B. Nice and clear.

Clare September 11, 2026

B please it’s best for my ageing eyesight 🤣💜

Alice R September 11, 2026

B looks nice and clear. Agree with Norsewolf I also have to Sharpe a C on the lid to make sure I get them the right way round.

Louise September 11, 2026

I think B is a great idea.

Laura Waters September 11, 2026

Defo B – the only reason you need writing in the side is to choose the shampoo or conditioner. The colour already tells you the perfume so no need for anything else.

Salma Abdelrahman September 11, 2026

Large clear font of the name of the scent and whether it’s shampoo or conditioner. That would be super convenient and practical

Victoria September 11, 2026

B – I suggested to you to put “shampoo” and “conditioner” on the side months ago 😂

Deb September 11, 2026

B. large and clear, easy to read

Julie List September 11, 2026

I think B is the best. Easy to read.

Kim September 11, 2026

Definitely B
I also find that the design of the pouring spout is not ideal, I’ve lost count of the amount of times I have managed to over pour and have to wipe the surplus up with one of the items I am about to wash

Louise C September 11, 2026

B. Great idea! I accidentally used the conditioner for a wash and then wondered why there were no bubbles!

Penny Townsend September 11, 2026

B

But please, please, please make the kids child resistant! My 3-year-old granddaughter recently poured my whole tallow & ash haul down the sink when I wasn’t looking but at least she didn’t drink it! They do look good & smell good. So child proof then please!

Andrea September 11, 2026
Sorry I don’t agree, other washing bottles do not have child proof caps. Life is difficult enough for those of us with arthritis in our hands without making washing bottles hard to undo.

Nick Chapman September 11, 2026

I think ‘B’ is the best of those available to choose from. However, can’t the small writing go on one side, and just the name (ODYSSEY LAUNDRY SHAMPOO) and it’s scent make up, in much larger lettering on the other side?
My T+A stuff is in a cupboard under the sink, at ground level. I’d need larger lettering to be able to read which was which.
Alternatively, might it just be easier to have different coloured caps? For example , a clear cap for shampoo and a white cap for conditioner?

Ellen Vullo September 11, 2026

Great idea ❤️

Norsewolf September 11, 2026

B. I did solve the issue by writing an S or C on the side with a sharpie, though it’s not very aesthetic

Jo September 11, 2026

B – whether it is shampoo or conditioner is primary element, followed by scent which is already identified by the colour. Great idea. Also looking at the spilling issue as it’s too good to be wasting any!

Nicola Gower September 11, 2026
Me too the spilling. So much wase

Alison Lambourne September 11, 2026

Definitely B. Clearer and less cramped on the bottle

Katherine September 11, 2026

Love B – such a good idea to have the shampoo and conditioner clearly labelled on the side as well as the fragrance name

Julia Stanbury September 11, 2026

I’m really not worried about the design regarding text. I have issue with gripping the bottles due to severe arthritis in my hands. I’ve dropped them numerous times but luckily the lids have been on.
If it happens and I spill the contents then I might have to stop buying the product as it’s too expensive to waste. Not to mention being physically disabled and having to try to clean it all up.
My husband has neuropathy from chemotherapy and has also had issues gripping and holding onto the bottles.

Jamie Phillips September 11, 2026

I think B looks good. Like the idea of being able to see at a glance the shampoo and conditioner. I have them lined up short end showing on my worktop.

Gwyneth Couchman September 11, 2026

B nice and clear .

Sandra September 11, 2026

Just an idea — I think B should definitely
Or S and C Even in a wee coloured box on the side. especially as a lot of people can’t see the difference between products like shampoo and conditioner.

You really need to do air fresheners! 😂 Car air fresheners too.

I absolutely love the Oud. I haven’t tried the new one yet, but I will once I use up the four I’ve already got! 😅

Vicky Goodman September 11, 2026

It’s a ‘B’ from me!

Emily Taylor September 11, 2026

Love the idea but don’t particularly like any of the above. I’d like a viewing window one side and just the Name and Shampoo/conditioner very large on the other ?

Clarissa Gayle-Telesford September 11, 2026

B looks great!!!
I’m wondering if the bottles can have a seal? I’m devastated when my delivery comes and one of the bottles has leaked.

Patty September 11, 2026

B.. nice and clear!

Penny September 11, 2026

Definitely B, clear what it is at the top, then if you want to read the rest, you can

Elle September 11, 2026

B, for sure! The slightly larger text helps to navigate between detergent and conditioner, although I feel there should be a symbol indicating which is which. Life can get hectic, and when loading the washing machine, amongst other household chores, those seconds make a difference in whether you pick up the correct bottle :)

Sam September 11, 2026

B for sure. Love the idea.

I’d also love a redesign of the stain powder! We keep ours in the cupboard under the sink, and I’ve accidentally launched powder everywhere twice pulling it out too quickly. Maybe it’s just me?

Susan Browne September 11, 2026

B would be great – clear to see

LINDA CAROLINE LEDGER September 11, 2026

I think B is better, l am not keen on the existing design.

Nicola Merry September 11, 2026

B – but it should look more like a proper book spine with the name by itself as the star of the show.

Kim Gibson September 11, 2026

B for me but please please please look into why these bottles leak when filling the lid and the top is screwed on tight. I have more on the floor than in the lid.

Amy Groome September 11, 2026

Love B 🩵💙

Helen September 11, 2026

I prefer C , but then I much preferred Golden Oud to this Honey one. Will you ever bring golden Oud back ? It would also be lovely if you made Little Miracle a fabric fragrance. It would be fantastic if you did

Andrea September 11, 2026
We loved the Golden Oud too

Miss Janice Stanley September 11, 2026

B for me it looks a lot better

Gosia Bewley September 11, 2026

I would go for B option. Love the idea!

Tracey H September 11, 2026

Definitely B for me as I can read that clearly without having to put my reading glasses on!

MH September 11, 2026

Can I choose none? 😂 barely a decent change tbh. What these bottles need the most is a more ergonomic design that can be held and poured more easily

Mandi Meldrum September 11, 2026

My vote is for B , it’s the most clearly visible

Samantha Dye September 11, 2026

It definitely has to be option b. The fragrance and product type are easier to see. I would prefer it if it had the same wording as the front, that way it will look like it’s meant to be displayed that way.

Ann Rugen September 11, 2026

C gets my vote

Mary September 11, 2026

Has to be B for me, would be great to
Double check and clearly see which one is shampoo and which one is conditioner 💜

Love someone else’s idea of having a clear window line to see in how much is left

Nicole September 11, 2026

B but with the scent name a little bit bigger! Some of the bottles are quite close in colour for my eyesight 🙈

Ann September 11, 2026

I am a severely sight impaired user of your products and love them. Can I make a plea for you to make the signage clearer for People like me, with very poor vision? It would be great if you could have some better contrast on your bottles. not white on pale bottle colours . If you can’t do that then please, please , please use lower case letters for the descriptions eg Shampoo not SHAMPOO. Most people find it much easier to see a mixture of lower and upper case. Using upper case print just presents itself as blocks whereas a mixture presents a much easier form to read and words are much more recognisable.
It would be good if, while you are redesigning the bottle you make your merchandise more inclusive. Thanks

Nicola Hundy September 11, 2026

B of the three BUT what I love about the original bottles was the plain sides with labels only on front and back. You don’t need to print on all sides but if it is thought essential then just the scent & product!

Janet Halliburton September 11, 2026

B – I can read it without glasses on and in a slightly dark cupboard it’s ideal.

Joanne White September 11, 2026

I think you could sort out the more important problems first like staining clothing and bedding (I have red blotches on 3 lots of bedding) and giving an option for a Royal Mail delivery as I’m fed up with Evri ‘losing’ my orders

Babs September 11, 2026

I think B is fab!

Sharon w September 11, 2026

B for me but more to the point why are the pouring spouts no longer aligning and it goes everywhere except the drawer of the washing machine? It should pour properly aligned to the narrow edge of the container

Donna September 11, 2026
I agree with this, no idea why spouts are like this lately

Kim September 11, 2026
I agree, I’ve made the same comment about the pouring spouts

Sarah September 11, 2026
I spent a not so happy hour unscrewing and rescrewing the spouts to get them almost lined up…

Nicole September 11, 2026

A mix of B and C. The font size of B is perfect but I like the addition of knowing what the notes in the fragrance are. So B with the addition of the fragrance notes from C.

Gloria Cotton September 11, 2026
B for me.

Janis September 11, 2026

B. It’s the only print I could see.

SJ September 11, 2026

B for sure !! Amazing idea

Sharon September 11, 2026

I like B.the best.x

Karen September 11, 2026

B is clearer.

Have you considered doing scented tumble dryer sheets?

Diane Heasman September 11, 2026

Brilliant Idea, saves that getting it cupboard then searching bottle to see if you have picked up conditioner or shampoo,
I usually wait see what comes out bottle if it’s clear shampoo or milky conditioner.
It would be much easier to see if it was on side of bottle in large writing.
So my choice would be B but larger writing.

Zara September 11, 2026

B looks brilliant, will it be on both sides or one? I think just one side will be better because i actually like the blankness on the side it looks quite sleek and no one knows it is a washing product it looks like a luxurious bottle. But the information on the side would be useful for some for sure! I just like the sleekness of having it blank on the side and info on the back reminds me of an actual perfume bottle!

Rachel September 11, 2026

Wouldn’t it be nicer to have a design that if you collect them all it makes a beautiful picture? 😊

Deborah Evans September 11, 2026
I LOVE this idea

Louise September 11, 2026

B for me – easy on aging eyes that are often in a hurry!

Laura van den Broek September 11, 2026

Idd say b. But also I’d love a see transparent streak on the side so you can see how far along your bottle is. So you’ll see when it’s time to order refills!!

Mary September 11, 2026
Yes! What a great idea!!! 💜

Andrea September 11, 2026

B – easier to read at a glance (and without reading glasses😎)

Danusia September 11, 2026

I like example C
Also I think it would be great if you could invent some scented sgeets that you could either add to the tumble dryer, or, add to folded dried laundry which is stored before use! So that you get the gorgeous smell still running through the washing! Maybe even hanging scent bags for wardrobes and scent sachets for draws!!! 🥰🥰

Melissa September 11, 2026

B
I have mixed Shampoo and Conditioner up before. So B makes this more obvious when I’m not wearing my glasses. Also agree with the spout issue

Claire September 11, 2026

B is my favourite of the three.

Also I would love it if you did a scented ironing water.

Karin September 11, 2026

B!!!

But “real” book covers would be even more amazing

Amanda September 11, 2026

B please – for those of us who don’t have great eyesight this is the clearest – and it does drive me a bit mad how I always have to check which is shampoo and which is conditioner. xx

jackie thompson September 11, 2026

B definitely with condtioner or shampoo clear on the spine .

Anum September 11, 2026

Any one of these designs work great but please add a looking window to the side panel so we know how much product we have on hand and we can order more accordingly!

Nicola Merry September 11, 2026
Great idea!!

Ann September 11, 2026

The spout on the bottle needs re- designing as it spills all over when you pour it. It needs to be smaller

Sharon w September 11, 2026
I fully agree -it used to line up perfectly but now it goes everywhere except but where you want it to

Nicola Merry September 11, 2026
Yes I get that problem too

Alison Mence September 11, 2026

B is the easiest to see – but it doesn’t look like a book!

Mai Knight September 11, 2026

I’m liking ‘B’ as it’s clear what it is and which scent too!

Samantha September 11, 2026

C but bigger .
Just have the scent, description and shampoo/conditioner

Sade September 11, 2026

Great idea and while we on a design journey please can we have the product name on top of the bottles too so when we look down we can see at a glance if it’s the shampoo or the conditioner. Thank you 😘

Juliet September 11, 2026

B. Also something for the tumble dryers who often complain that the laundry conditioner loses its smell. I have found that a few sprays of the fabric spray onto the wet clothes in the dryer makes for lovely smelling washing out of the tumble dryer.

Meg September 11, 2026

C!! But please make the name and whether shampoo/conditioner bigger!

Pauline Gardner September 11, 2026

I would choose option B , it tells me all I need to know.
