Last week we shared a simple washing machine tip on our socials... and we couldn't believe the response! 😂
Over 500,000 people watched it, thousands shared it with friends and family, and the comments made us realise that lots of people have never actually been shown what the different washing machine compartments are for.
And it makes sense as traditional laundry brands don't exactly teach people how to use their products!
So if you've ever wondered where your detergent, conditioner or stain remover should go, we've put together a guide for you below! 🥳

Not surprised by this at all. Some parents don’t potty train their kids before they begin primary school, nor do they teach their children how to use cutlery, so I’m not surprised some people have no idea how to correctly dose a washing machine. Perhaps we need an education system that prepares children for adulthood and teaches them how to be a “good human”, so life isn’t such a shock when it arrives!

I do my laundry line this but at gone 60 I would flipping hope I know how to use a washing machine.
I didn’t have a scoop either, guessed they weren’t supplied which was surprising ☹️so searched through old scoops etc that had been included in other products found one that was the right amount. Putting one in would be more helpful.

Wait?! What?! There’s a scoop??? Was I supposed to get a scoop with my stain remover? There was nothing in the box so I’ve been weighing it out!!

This is so funny. Don’t people read the instruction manuals these days. 🤔🧐
