In short, you now get an extra 15% liquid in every bottle, for the same price.. Here's the story why:
Some people have commented they think our bottles aren't full. And it's true, the bottles are slightly bigger than the amount of product that's in there.
It's standard practice in our industry for the bottles to be bigger than the liquid inside them, this is due to how bubbly and foamy the products are when you fill them up.
If you take a mainstream brand bottle that you'd find in Sainsbury's or Tesco you'll see in the video it's not completely full.
We've been wanting to change this since the first time we got a comment on it - as we always want you guys to feel you're getting amazing value for money with us!
We couldn't do it from the start of the brand 14 months ago because we had pretty basic machinery and pumping equipment.
There were two things we were waiting for to be able to make it happen. The first is what's called a Diaphragm pump, and the second is a machine with a Dive Nozzle.
The new pump pulls the liquid through in a way that doesn't make the liquid foam, the old pump would really just whip our Laundry Shampoo into a foam inside the bottle.
This has now been sorted, and every order from onwards comes with 15% extra liquid filled to a perfect amount, super fast so it doesn't affect our shipments and production speed.

Can I ask about refills and a funnel maybe ? The samples are already in packets – could we order bigger sizes for refills – my current brand is in sheets because of recyclability. Il go through these 4 bottles and samples and await your reply. The only reason I wouldn’t buy again is the bottles … they are pretty ( for detergents) refilling would be the bonus to have the choice of bottle or pack with a reusable funnel.

Lovely products that for me too have become quite expensive. The only thing I already commented about is the recycling of these bottles. It just feels like a lot of waste.
I wonder if in any way you could also make these in a more compact capsule format in much smaller packaging. I’m thinking of another company I also buy from online. I prefer these fragrances but the cost is double what I normally would pay. These Tallow & Ash fragrances are divine and so these are my treat myself bottles too. Or as a gift! :)

I do agree with the comments that say something needs to be done with regards to the spout. Mine came off completely when I took the seal off, which was quite a struggle (and I’m a young person). Also, each time I pour the detergent it leaks everywhere, as the residue liquid doesn’t go back in the bottle once you’ve put the bottle back down after use, just collect round the spout and leaks the next time I’m using it. I’ve only had the discovery bundle so far, really loved Oud and Date Night and will probably order more in the future, however, I find it to be really expensive as I do 4 loads of laundry a week on average and I live in an area with very hard water so have to use more product for each load. I do find my laundry feeling a bit different after using Tallow +Ash (good different) just to expensive for my budget to completely switch to using only Tallow + Ash. Any future orders will be just to spoil my self as the scents are amazing (and it makes sense for the smell on dry clothes to be different than the one in the bottle – even perfumes smell different depending on person wearing them and even the climate and environment you’re in – noticed the last one whilst travelling)

Hi – appreciate that u are feeling the bottles now more but I was hoping you do something about the fact that the bottle leaks out when you pour the liquid out into the measuring cap – so each time I have some of the liquid on my floor – will u be changing a design of this at some point? I’m sure I’m not the only one whom this happens to 🤔 many thanks – otherwise all is perfect 😍

Is there something you can do about the white pull cap inside the bottle. This is so stiff and hard to pull out. The screw cap that goes on after it is fine but the white pull cap is a pain to put back in each time and pull out again
Have you fixed how we get into the bottles yet. Honestly love your products but I’m nearly crying 😭 each time I have to open a bottle. I’m either wearing half the bottle or have found now that I can remove the whole top & remove with an “extra sharp” knife – definitely not ideal 😂

My wishlist would be encouraging more refill packs for customers who already have bottles.
The delivery guy asked me what I had in my box they were so heavy.
Maybe you could do a little to encourage more folk to recycle instead of big bottles please.

Have you fixed the spout and top, it gets really messy. I have to put the top in with the wash! It puts me off making more purchases
I love your products guys! The design, look and colours of the bottles are really nice and the smells are all great too and each one unique in its own way! A couple of suggestions if I may, it would be great to receive a free sample every time you order so that you get to sample all of the products and it would be good if there were a bigger range to choose from including perhaps a limited monthly, or seasonal choice available.

Yes the scents smell strong in the bottle but the laundry doesn’t smell of the scents at all once washed & I used more product than recommended, spent £50 so very disappointed, a lot of my fellow instagramers have said the same. Back to my usual brand unfortunately.

I love icing cake but all my white clothes and sheets are ending up with a pink tinge! Any thoughts!? Very strange. Doesn’t happen with any of the other fragrances.
