So today Niamh, our CS Manager, bought someone a gift card from Beauty Bay so they can treat themselves!
And Maisie, bought someone lunch, with a £20 deliveroo gift card, as a thank you for doing the laundry with us.
Hopefully these people like their gifts, and we’ll be doing this every day as an official business policy to ensure that we are going to be giving the best, most amazing, customer experience as we continue to grow the brand!

I wonder if this is still a thing because my order was cancelled once due to a system glitch not showing my order properly and a second time by customer service a few minutes after it was replaced with the email saying it was cancelled at my request
My treat would be not see see candy beach scent go… it is lush and out of the 5 scents I have currently have… Duvet Day, Date Night, Aurora, Spooky Szn,Celestial (that are all extremely gorgeous in their own right) certainly don’t beat the sweet delicious heavenly scent of Candy Beach…I now limit the time I use my candy beach and only wash my clothes in it lol… 😂 Tallow and As scents are epic thank you for making doing the laundry an exciting time as opposed to being a dull chore… now I find myself looking for things to wash when all the laundry is done xxx
I have put in my first order and can’t wait to start using your products. I care for my husband who is severely disabled with MS and also my dad who lives with us as he has dementia and Parkinson’s. A lovely treat for me would be a coffee treat to keep me going xx

You know what would make my day? I work as a healthcare in ICU – I have bought a big order from yourselves and I use it for work uniforms – patients love it (when they are well enough to be awake) as it’s a casual waft and they (and staff members!) think it’s perfume! It’s great! But back to ‘what’s would make my day’ not eating the same food from a chain everyday – when I get chance! To have a casual munch on something different either at lunch or after when I get home … sometimes, I’m too tired to eat my feelings (and there are a LOT of them on trauma ICU) I love my job, but not so much the eating feelings and it be the same old same old. If I’m gonna get fat, lemme eat something to make me perk up.., cake, doesn’t do it .. but something else to perk me up would take edge off..
I may stink after a hard day but my uniform keeps giving tallow and ash wafts of celestial alllllll 12.5 hours :)

As someone with severely sensitive skin but a deep love of scents, your products let me have the best of all worlds – smelling fantastic, being clean, and not having red, irritated skin! As an investor, the first interactions with customer service and so much misleading info on getting the set rewards were somewhat disappointing, not more from the gain but from trust and confidence POV of an investor. But Niamh has been lovely in her responses so let it go and wasn’t disappointed with the products at all, love them indeed and I’m glad I invested as first time encountering it I had high hopes and positive vibes only! Based on some of the reviews, great customer service really go a long way so this is a great idea! Would love to try the High Maintenance and the other new products if I do get kindly chosen!

Spontaneous Refunds or Double Orders to your most loyal members.
I must admit I have not personally had the best experience with Tallow & Ash…(nearly blinded myself due to the way the ring pull was designed causing the product to go into my eyes 😅, only half my shipment was delivered…faults etc on first order…) HOWEVER, I love what they stand for and learning that they are a new company that are so client focused inspires me.
I think opportunities such as ‘spa days’, ‘Spotaneous refunds’ or even an ‘accidental (planned) double shipment’ for their most loyal customers with a ‘thank you for supporting us message in the box, would speak volumes to how much they appreciate the support from their loyal customers – without breaking the bank due to its sporadic/random nature.
Discount codes would be another potential option, but I feel too many companies currently do this with their products and it isn’t as authentic to the consumer.
Regardless of my experience,

I’ve been suffering from hypigmentation sp for me would be a session with a skin expert or a sports massage. Amazing idea for an already great product.

I was using another well known brand and although I loved their products, their customer service left a lot to be desired. I’m old school and still believe in good customer service, so I searched and found Tallow and Ash. Your products are amazing, but just as importantly, so is your customer service.
As an elderly chap who doesn’t really like washing clothes and stuff, your product has almost made the chore an enjoyable activity! I love the Oud option and have just subscribed. I would suggest that with the follow-up offers, which pop up after ordering, the refill pouches should come first, rather than extra plastic bottles. I will probably change my subscription to one for refill pouches in the near future. 😊

So first time mum on maternity leave (don’t even get me started on maternity pay!) A bottle of oud laundry shampoo and conditioner would be an absolute treat…because who knew one small baby could produce so much washing!

My household has changed so much over the last few years, my daughter has just taken her GCSE exams, my husband has quit his job & become my dog sitter & house husband, I have gone back to full time work & am loving it…!! My kids and I love T&A products!
My daughter was recently diagnosed with autism – she is very sensitive to smells; she absolutely loves when her bedding and comforter is washed in ‘Celestial’. My son is currently recovering from spinal surgery – he’s done a stint in hospital so I made sure his bedding and pyjamas were smelling lush for a bit of luxury when he got home! It really does make a difference when your bedding smells so good!

I broke my back and coccyx two years ago and recovery has been slow so I’ve been stuck in the house for about two years! Nice smelling laundry somehow has become important to me. In the winter the clothes have been on the radiator and the whole house has smelled great. But in the summer my carer has put the clothes on the clothesline outside so that smell has gone. How about partnering with a plug in smell such as 3volution like febreeze does

My initial experience of Tallow was not good. I asked for some samples and paid the postage. It never arrived. I contacted them and they sent them again, still a no show.
I contacted them again and they refunded the postage to me and sent another lot of laundry samples. Yay I got them! Probing they are genuinely trying their best.
So I guess they’ve got a really shoddy delivery company.
So if I could have anything it would be a years supply of my choosing and for them a better delivery experience.

Well, my idea isn’t for me, but for my daughter! I just returned to the US after a short visit to Scotland where my daughter lives. She introduced me to your products while I was there. She works with geriatric patients for the NHS, and is on a very budget, but said, “Mom, I know this is kind of a splurge, but it is so lovely and it makes me feel a bit spoiled when I can’t most of the time!” I would love to recognize her hard work and dedication in some way. I think a good idea would be like food shop coupons or gift cards as we all need a little help with the cost of everything at the moment! Brilliant idea , I have had the worst year possible .. nearly died at the beginning of the year , not fully back to health but I thank the NHS for the way they looked after me (I work for the NHS too) also my daughter and saying sorry for giving her a scare and for her attention and helping me I am so so proud of her . I really didn’t want to hassle or complain again but just offered some inspiration on packaging as they need to be in hard packaging

I think this is a wonderful idea – I would really love something relaxing and a treat to myself. I’ve recently been diagnosed with cancer (for the second time) so I’ve been trying to get as much housework done before I start my chemotherapy. Just smelling my laundry bottles from yourselves cheers me up. So thank you, thank you for making a chore a joy 😊
I LOVE my little Frenchie, and she means the world to me, but working from home means she wants attention ALL the time. She also loves her doggy day are and always comes back exhausted, but it allows me to get some ME time, get my work done, clean the house (do the laundry) and just chill while she’s out having fun. Gifting a day of doggy day care for my little pup would be a wonderful treat, for myself, or anyone who needs a little break to reset.
How about instead of buying us lunch, you simply respond to emails from customers wanting to know where their order is? Because my experience so far with customer service has been real lame. I really like the products, but perhaps customer service needs to just get better at the actual job first

In a world that is full of violence, anger, war and the unlawful killing of others it is good to look after oneself in order to connect with the wonderful things the world has to offer. I love the idea, giving someone a gift to enjoy, just because you can. It’s a tough job sometimes when dealing with disgruntled customers. I’m a cleaner and love making people’s houses cleaning and smelling good, I would enjoy a selection of samples so I could pay it forward to my clients.

It may sound a bit trite but I always choose (when possible) to donate to a registered charity (in my case, my local Hedgehog Rescue or Hope4Homes Romanian dog rescue) but maybe a donation towards the recipients charity of choice? They are all struggling so much 😔

Love this idea, it’s so kind. If I was chosen I’d choose for my 16 yo daughter to have a little treat. Her dad died a few months ago and even thought it’s been so tough she’s been so amazing, always helping with laundry, cleaning and cooking without ever being asked. She discovered and bought me the Oud washing range as she knew I’d love it- and I do!
She won’t ever spend a penny of her money on herself though. She loves her make up and things like bath treats from lush so I’d love her to have a little something just for her.

It might not be something that’d work as one of your random daily awesome acts of kindness as it wouldn’t necessarily suit everyone and you can’t know the individual tastes of each purchaser but, for me, a voucher towards gig tickets or one for a rail operator of choice would make me happy dance for days if I were to find it in my order as live music and travel are my therapy and I haven’t been able to experience much of either the last couple of years.

Do you know what would make my day? I would love to be able to treat my husband of 29yrs to lunch. He has gone above an beyond supporting me through the years, through illness and stress, Now he is helping me to get back to work after moving house. We have just finished building me a cabin for a studio in our garden so I can complete my mosaic works for an exhibition in Nov. He works full time but is always supporting me.
