I celebrate my incredible, beloved granny Anna. Even thought she is not with us now she lives within me and my beautiful children.
The strongest woman I have ever met. She was denied to attend law school even with amazing marks due to her father being prisoned for his political stance against the local government at the time. And she as a ‘traitors daughter’ was not allowed further education. She told me stories how she had to work in a factory that she hated. Every morning she would travel to her work in tram she would see this beautiful city council building and kept telling herself she will work there one day. So after 4 children she decided to do night school after work. She did end up being a big boss in housing section sitting in that beautiful city council building.
She was the most extraordinary person and boosted me through my own journey when I moved to UK, build my life here and especially doing my degree and chartered accountancy education while raising my two babies.

My daughter is my inspiration to keep on top of the washing . To make it smell nice. To wear it with pride.

The woman I would like to comment on is my sister. She is my absolute best friend in the world, inspires me to be a better person every day and has been there for me through the worst times and the best times. I love her more than she’ll ever know. She is the kindest person I know and I’m thankful for her every day ❤️
